TASK 1 Use the three sphere model of systems management to identity potential issues that could be factors in deciding whether you should proceed with your idea to develop an application for recreational athletics at your company. Include at least 5 questions for each sphere.

Business: How much will be the initial profit for the intranet application project? How much will the company save for the intranet application project? How much will the company spend for the intranet application project? What will support all the expenses need in the intranet application project? What will be the impact of the online registration to the junior employees? Organization: Who is to manage the progress of the intranet application project? Who is to guide and coach new resources? Who may provide information and opinions in the intranet application project? Who may provide information and knowledge in the intranet application project? Who will be involved in using the project? Technology: What software will be used? What will be the desiring design for the website? What hardware specification will be used? Will be the security monitored? Will be the speed of connection is enough for the company used?

TASK 2 Your immediate boss liked your idea. He suggested that you proceed immediately with your project by creating a Project Charter to be approved by the senior managers. Project Charter Project Title: Application for Corporate Athletic Teams Intranet Project Project Start Date: December 14, 2010 Projected Finish Date: June 16, 2011 Budget Information: The Company has allocated P600,000 for this project. Approximately P100,000 for reinventing interface designs, P150,000 will be for recording and testing of the project and P350,000 will be for the materials to be used. This project provide to help people learn about the many corporate athletic teams, register on-line, determine team schedules, post team statistics, access to corporate data that can be shared by the enterprise and conferencing between departments is another good use of this project, especially for other offices located around the world. The company is expected to get a high profit after the developing of the project. Most of the information provided was given by the professionals. This project provides the security and privacy of the employees and company. Approach: Communicate with all the employees for additional concepts for the project Encourage professionals within the company to give insight about the project. Research more about corporate athletic teams. Develop a survey that can be helpful for the improvement of the project. Work closely to the people that are interested about the project. Get feedback from the customer. Focus on the information that the project provided. Determine a way to measure the effectiveness of the project.
