AREAS OF INTEREST: Analog VLSI design Digital VLSI design PUBLICATION: Paper Titled 6-Bit Low-Power Subranging-ADC with Increased Throughput published in Proceedings of Midwest Circuits and Systems 2010. The proposed method splits optimally the total time taken for the coarse ADC and fine ADC comparisons to achieve maximum possible clock-speed. KEY ACADEMIC PROJECTS: MTech Project Design of RF transceiver front end for telemetry of biomedical signal Designed Low power analog FM Transceiver in 180nm for telemetry of biomedical signals. Novel FM demodulator was designed. This architecture achieves less power than Zigbee architecture. TWO INDIAN PATENTS APPLIED . R&D Project : [2009 ] Improving power efficiency of Hi speed analog-to- digital converters: Low-power Hi-speed flash ADC was designed using power efficient Comparator with offset cancellation method. Successfully fabricated and tested the test chip of comparator with offset cancellation circuit.
