Money raised is used throughout our community to support organizations. Seller receives 70% of the proceeds.
A $5.00 Donation from the seller is required per every 200 items and will be deducted automatically from your check.
ONE COPY OF THE INVENTORY SHEET and SELLER CHECKLIST is required at checkin. * Clothing items for this sale must be fall and winter. Sellers are limited to 200 items. *
Preparing Your Items to Sell 1. The following items will be accepted: clothes for maternity, children size 0-16, AND teen clothing ONLY as well as shoes, toys, books, videos, accessories, and infant/childrens furniture and equipment. No breakable items glass or perfumes. Formal dresses will be accepted this sale. 2. *** Be sure to NOT mark items S, M, L Please mark all clothing with a size from 0-3 months up to size 16 for children and 0-20 for teen clothing. Use your best judgment to assign a size. 3. All clothes should be freshly laundered, smoke-free, and hung on WIRE HANGERS as shown in the diagram to the right. Safety pin clothing to the hanger. Items that are loose on hangers will be pulled from the sale and returned to the seller. We are not responsible for items or price tags that are not secured. There is a limit of 10 pairs of shoes per seller number. 4. No stuffed animals The toy must do something entertaining (talk, music, etc. no beanie babies). 5. Toys, equipment, and furniture must have all the pieces. Be sure that batteries are working in electronics/toys. Instructions are helpful but not required. Please take extra care when securing loose parts to toys. If possible, put all pieces in a large Ziploc bag or make sure the parts are SECURELY attached to the toy. Toys that are not working WILL be pulled from the sale and returned to the seller. 6. Tags must be pinned with safety pins to the front, left shoulder of clothes. (See diagram above.) Tape tags to boxes. Toys with pieces and all multiple books should be placed in Ziploc bags and sealed with packaging tape tags should be inside the bag. Shoes can be pinned, taped, or tied together. 7. Safety pin the waistband of pants to hangers. Use large safety pins please. Pin the waist to the top of the hanger and the hip to the bottom of the hanger. 8. Reduction/Half-Price Saturday This option will help you and our club by getting items to move on Saturday. If youre donating any items be sure to reduce them for Saturday. 9. Car/booster seats will be required to have an information and history form attached. Cleaning Tips 1. Toys: Smaller, molded plastic toys may usually be washed in the dishwasher. Textured plastic toys can be washed with a scrubbing powder and dried thoroughly. 2. Equipment that cannot be taken apart can be washed in a bathtub or outside with a garden hose. Stroller and bouncy seat fabric pieces can go in the washing machine, while metal and plastic parts must be wiped down thoroughly. 3. Clothing and Shoes: Ironing helps the clothing sell faster and often for more money. Shoes MUST be free of sand, mud and odor. They can often go in the washing machine and be air-dried.
The Younger Womans Club of Berea is not responsible for any items sold that may be recalled for any purpose. We reserve the right to return to seller any items that are not in working order or are not in slightly used condition. We have set forth these terms and conditions to provide the best sale we can to represent our club and our sellers.
Clothing that is found to be damaged, stained, out of season, etc. WILL be pulled from the sale and returned to the seller. Toys that are not operational will also be returned to the seller at the end of the sale.

Presale Shopping Sellers/Volunteers Only one person per seller number is allowed to shop at the presale with NO exceptions, please. Sellers/Volunteers must know their seller number to enter the presale. It is suggested that no children and no personal strollers be present. During the public sale on Thursday evening, we will strongly suggest strollers not be brought into the sale area due to the high volume of shoppers.
