Questionnaire on Flexible Working

Instructions 1. Please email the filled in questionnaire to radhi@avtarcc.com Glossary: 1. Full-time: This refers to an individual working the full complement of 8 hours or 9 hours as applicable from the office premises. 2. Flexi-time: This refers to an arrangement whereby the individual works flexibly for the same number of hours, but has the option of varying the start/end time as also the location of work (for eg, from home, from a remote location or from a designated third-party office). 3. FWA Flexible Working Arrangements refers to any means whereby an individual works flexibly 4. This could be 50% or 60% of the full-time working hours. 5. Staggered hours working has flexible start, finish and break times; it is not intended to reduce the number of working hours from normal full-time hours and does not accrue "extra" hours. 6. Term-time working is related to school patterns. Instead of having only four or six weeks of annual holidays, you have an extra seven to nine weeks of unpaid leave. This gives you the chance to work during term-time but to spend the holidays with any school-age children who are too young to be left to their own devices while you are out at work. 7. Telecommuting allows flexibility in time and place of work . Tasks, which can be carried out away from the workplace, can be telecommuted. 8. A compressed work week, also known as a flex schedule, gives the benefit of an extra day off by allowing you to finish your usual number of working hours in fewer days per pay period. Working our 10-hour days each week with one day off with a 4/40 schedule, or work 80 hours in nine days with an extra day off every other week. 9.
