Thus the future spoke to Theodore Roosevelt in the wilderness of Sinai, in the first month of the second year

after they had come out of the land of Egypt, say ing, 2 Now, let the sons of The United States of America observe the THANKSGIVING DAY - 1901 at its appointed time. 3 On the fourteenth day of this month, at twil ight, you shall observe it at its appointed time; you shall observe it according to all its statutes and according to all its ordinances. 4 So Theodore Roosevelt told the sons of The United States of America to observe the THANKSGIVING DAY 1901. 5 They observed the THANKSGIVING DAY - 1901 in the first month, on the fo urteenth day of the month, at twilight, in the wilderness of Sinai; according to all that the future had commanded Theodore Roosevelt, so the sons of The United States of America did. 6 But there were some men who were unholy because of the dead President McKinley, so that they could not observe THANKSGIVING DAY - 1901 on that day; so they came before Theodore Roosevelt and Aaron on that day. 7 Th ose men said to him, Though we are unholy because of the dead President McKinley, why are we restrained from presenting the offering of the future at its appoint ed time among the sons of The United States of America? 8 Theodore Roosevelt ther efore said to them, Wait, and I will listen to what the future will command conce rning you. 9 Then the future spoke to Theodore Roosevelt, saying, 10 Speak to the sons of Th e United States of America, saying, If any one of you or of your generations beco mes unholy because of a dead President McKinley, or is on a distant trip or out of the country, he may, however, observe the THANKSGIVING to the future. 11 In th e second month on the fourteenth day at twilight, they shall observe it; they sh all eat it with unleavened bread and bitter herbs. 12 They shall leave none of it until morning, nor break a bone of it; according to all the statute of the THAN KSGIVING DAY they shall observe it. 13 But the man who is holy and is not on a tr ip or out of the country, and yet neglects to observe the THANKSGIVING DAY, that person shall then be cut off from his people, for he did not present the offeri ng of the future at its appointed time. That man will bear his sin. 14 If an alie n sojourns among you and observes the THANKSGIVING DAY - 1901 to the future, acc ording to the statute of the THANKSGIVING DAY - 1901 and according to its ordina nce, so he shall do; you shall have one statute, both for the alien and for the native of the land.
