The easier and more effective system available on the market for filtration and recycling of grey water

from processing marble & granite

THE EMT NX120 FILTER PRESS DESIGN, MEET SIMPLE STANDARDS:

LOW OPERATING COST TROUBLE FREE OPERATION SUSTAINED OPERATING ABILITY EFFICIENT AND ECONOMICAL DEWATERING Tail Plate Plate Pack Cross head

Feed head

Clamping Cylinder

HOW THE SYSTEM WORKS:

Hydraulic Cabinet Cross

A filter press is an economic liquid solid separation device. At one end of the machine is the feed head containing piping for the slurry delivery. At the other end is the crosshead containing a clamping mechanism . A moving plate (the tail plate) clamps the filter plate pack The plate pack comprises a number of plates forming chambers for solid collection. A filter media is supported by the plates of the plate pack Slurry is pumped into the chamber and against the filter and against the filter media. Liquid (the filtrate) passes through the filter cloth and exits through the filtrate ports of the filter press. The solid (filter cake)collect on the surface of the media within the chamber until the chamber is full. The cake may be washed or blown dry if necessary Filter cake are then discharged and the cycle is complete NX120 has a modular design and may be upgraded as required for future shop expansions

GASKETTED RECESS PLATES

Flter cloth is installed in grooves within the plate. Grooves containing 'O' ring around the sealing edge and filtrate holesform a tight seal when the plate pack is closed

FILTER PRESS MAIN FEATURES

Water filtered between 1 and 3 microns Filtering capacity 120 Gls per minute 120 psi maximum pressure inside the filter press Steel alloy heavy duty structure Fully mechanized with electro hydraulic closing system Bacteria control PLC control system

FILTER PRESS MAIN BENEFITS

Helps to meet E.P.A. Requirements, (U.S Environmental Protection Agency) 100 % of the shop water is recycled Cuts all the expenses for periodical slurry disposal and eliminate labour for cleaning the pits. Upgradable to customer water volume needs and suitable to any shop future expansions Use of clarified water drastically reduce machinery damage and repairs Life of diamond tools will be longer and performance more effective

ENVIRONMENTAL INFORMATIONS
Grey waters from marble & granite processing contains mud particles that clog pipes and could cause raw sewage to overflow in homes, yards public areas. Overflows often occur during periods of high rainfall or snowmelt and can result in basement backups, overflow at manholes or discharge directly to rivers, lakes or coastal waters. Discharge of grey waters directly into sewers or storm-water drain systems is considered an illicit discharge because unlike wastewater which flows to a wastewater treatment plant, storm-water generally flows to waterways without any additional treatment. Illicit discharges often include pathogens, nutrients, surfactants, and various toxic pollutants Grey water reuse is a part of the fundamental solution to many ecological problems and will probably remain essentially unchanged in the distant future. The benefits of grey water recycling are the following : Eliminates / reduce waste disposal, reduce discharge into sewer and associated costs for water / sewer use and wastewater treatment
