New Yorkers overwhelmingly disapprove of the federal government implementing regulations that would force Catholic organizations to engage in practices that directly violate and contradict their core beliefs. Methodology: This poll of 1000 likely general election voters in New York was conducted between January12th and 15th, 2012. All interviews were conducted via telephone by professional interviewers. Interview selection was random within predetermined election units. These units were structured to correlate with actual voter turnout in a statewide general election. This poll of 1000 likely general election voters has an accuracy of +/- 3.1% at a 95% confidence interval. Some questions were split sampled and have an accuracy of +/- 4.5% at a 95% confidence interval.
