The Epistle to the Galatians is my epistle. To it I am as it were in wedlock. It is my Katherine. -M.L.

I N t ro d U c t I o N
The Letter of Galatians was written by the Apostle Paul to the people in Galatia. All writings in the Bible are written by people under the influence of the Holy Spirit. It is for this reason we call the Bible the Word of God. Paul is writing to the Galatian Christians in order to correct a teaching that has been introduced to them by false teachers. The question arose as to whether a person must obey the Law of Moses in order to be a true Christian. Pauls letter declares that faith in Jesus is sufficient for salvation. Many struggle with this issue today, wondering what they need to do to obtain salvation and keep it. In Letters From Jesus I have taken the letter of Paul and put it into the words of Jesus. To do this, I have repeatedly asked the questions as I read each verse: What is Jesus telling me through this verse? How would Jesus write this verse in todays setting? Since these are letters from Jesus, I have divided the work to three or four verses in each section. This way it is easier to handle and also can be used as a daily devotion. I have also provided a space for your own listening creativity. This is your time with Jesus in which you can write your letter to Jesus based on what he is revealing to you.

lISteNING to God
Listening to God is an art form of prayer that brings out your creativity and draws you into the presence of Jesus. It allows the Holy Spirit to work through you, as you read the Scriptures, to discover the treasures that are in the written Word of God. Once discovered, this art becomes a way of life as you journey with Jesus on your own road to Emmaus. You soon discover your eyes are opened and life becomes a communion with Jesus as you break bread (the Word) together. Listening to God is a healing form of prayer, where your expectations come from Jesus rather than from yourself. In listening, you receive a personal message - for Jesus is always whispering to you.

tHree StYleS of PrAYer

1. TRADITIONAL PRAYER (Lord, do you hear me?)

Talking to God. One way communication Offering Him praise and thanksgiving for what He has done Confessing and seeking forgiveness Bringing our needs and requests to God Most prayers and songs are traditional prayer format

2. LISTENING PRAYER (Lord, I hear you)

Prayer becomes dialogue with God Listen for direction in daily circumstances Humbly steps back, listen to the still small voice Prayer content is based on what is heard or seen Answer to the plea made in traditional prayer Starts by seeking agreement before speaking Hearing Jesus A prophetic word Silence is often treasured
3. LISTENING TO JESUS - LETTER FROM JESUS (Lord, speak to me in your written word)

Jesus speaking is tied in with the written Word of God rather than personal need Observe the meaning of the verse as it is written Put the meaning into the present time Put the thoughts into the first person as Jesus would say them to you Scripture becomes a personal word to you from Jesus

TAKEN FROM HIS WRITTEN WORD GALATIANS

In my heart reigns this one article, faith in my dear Lord Christ, the beginning, middle and end of whatever spiritual and divine thoughts I may have, whether by day or by night. - Martin Luther

Day 1
Galatians 1:1-5 Divine Call

GALATIANS ONE

Dear Sister and Brother, 1. I want you to know that I was called by My Heavenly Father to be the Saviour of the world. This means that I am your Saviour too. I am delighted that you have chosen to be a member of My Kingdom Church, therefore partnering with Me in spreading the Gospel message. The reason for My writing to you now is that I am asking you to help Me in My task. If you accept, understand that this is a divine call, with a divine ministry, so do not take it lightly. I am delighted to have you as My ambassador, representing My Kingdom in the territory I will send you to. 2. I am also writing to give you a word of warning and a word of encouragement. This letter is accompanied by the entire Heavenly Host. It will also reach out to others who are faithful to the true message of My Gospel. 3. So ferocious and violent was the sin that originally had its claim upon you, that I offered Myself as a living sacrifice to eradicate it. This was planned by My Father at the time when Adam and Eve sinned in disobedience. This was done so that you could be rescued today from the devils kingdom in which you live. This kingdom is filled with ignorance, contempt, hatred and disobedience.
2 Glen Carlson

4. You can see that for this reason, from the beginning and to the end of time, all glory has gone, goes and will go to My Heavenly Father. 5. My Heavenly Father also shares this letter I am writing to you. The grace that We greet you with has the power to remit sin, demonstrating Our great love for you. Along with this We share a peace that quiets your conscience, showering you with brightness and gladness in your heart. May My grace be with your spirit. With love, Jesus

D ear Jesus,
