HELMSLEY-SPEAR AND COMPANY March 1995 September 1996 Created and maintained various companies on GENESYS PAYROLL system, as well as writing COBOL programs to interface to external subsystems. Converted data extracts from ADP to our new GENESYS system via COBOL II JOSEPH E. SEAGRAMS & SONS August 1994-February 1995 Developed and implemented Nationwide Depletions systems, in addition to, writing reports in OMNIS7 to replace existing CICS system. The data resides in DB2, which is accessed through a SYBASE gateway. CITIBANK, N. A. August 1992 - December 1993 Responsible for maintaining and enhancing weekly credit card fraud database in COBOL, COBOLII, and SAS, as well as, creating reports for upper management in Security Management. McKINSEY AND COMPANY September 1989-July 1992 Programmer/Analyst Developed and implemented the Worldwide Human Resources System including Payroll 401K Plan, Employee Loans and Benefits, Employment recruitment and Employee Tracking. This system allows all of the offices to extract information from one central source. The front end was developed in OMNIS7 while an ORACLE database resided on the back-end in UNIX. SQL calls were executed through OMNIS7 to ORACLE to retrieve data. Created a Payroll subsystem in PC/FOCUS for the extraction of data to ADP for our bi-weekly payroll. Re-organized our current W2 System in VM/CMS FOCUS to incorporate necessary change prior to actual W-2 printing. Interfaced with end users in order to improve system operation and functionality. Developed reporting system and ad-hoc reports in VM/CMS and PC/FOCUS for the CEO, Comptroller and several other financial managers. Maintained and enhanced the current Payroll System using COBOL in DOS/VSE.Unit testing performed for all modifications.
