An MBA in Advertising, Marketing & Communication with 9+ years of experience in the areas of Corporate Communication, Brand Management, Marketing/ Sales Support and Event Management. An effective communicator with good presentation skills and sound knowledge of working with advertising agencies, media houses, event management companies etc. Presently working on project basis with an Australian MNC, Simply Stainless as Marketing & Communications Manager. Role: Currently working with Simply Stainless on project basis as central support point, coordinating for the advertising and promotions, liaising with third party agencies, participation in event and exhibitions, seminars etc for the smooth execution of the communication tools to achieve the goals defined in advance. Establishing the mainline distribution system including identification of partners, negotiating the terms and developing the guidelines for the same, short listing the options and appointing the zonal distributors.

Detailed planning of the import logistics, sales forecast, warehousing and sales of the material and promotions.

Highlights: Played a key role during the initial phase of planning the strategy by doing a Need-Gap Analysis, BEP analysis, appointing dealers and distributors and adding reputed clients across all the locations. Played a key role in establishing the brand to the target audience through Below-The-Line advertising & promotions and participation in selected exhibitions and was able to achieve around 70% of the target in the first year itself. Initiated the usage of online marketing tools, Mass Mailer activity, Search Engine Optimization etc and was able to increase the brand awareness in the minds of target audience and contribute significantly in the revenue generation. Jun08 Jun 10 with Jindal Stainless Ltd., (JSL) as Associate Manager - Corporate Communications Role: Drafting and implementing marketing strategies for business growth of all verticals of the organization using innovative, inexpensive but effective media tools. Managing the Internal communication tools like newsletter, intranet, employee meet, mailers etc. Planning media vehicles suitable for the target audience. Planning and executing the External communication tools like corporate events / exhibitions / seminars, corporate Brochures, Website, Sales Support Collaterals and overall corporate identity creation, liaising and negotiations for the third party outsourcing for smooth execution. Highlights: Played a key role during the launch of retail store in NCR, Bangalore, Indore and Ahmedabad; successfully handled planning for launch activity, invitation process, logistics and advertisement campaigns etc. Highlighted the importance of online marketing tools, Search Engine Optimization, response tracking etc and was able to contribute significantly towards increasing the brand awareness in the minds of target audience and company revenue. May05 -Jun08 with HCL Infosystems Ltd., as Senior Executive - Corporate Communications Role: Responsible for coordinating with all the regions and divisions for accomplishing the requirements related to Corporate Brochures, Corporate Presentations, Corporate Profile, Corporate film and Corporate branding materials for the events, conferences & seminars, etc. Developing & directing major announcements, developments & initiatives of the company to media (print/electronic /trade/online); liaising with PR agency and media; organizing press conferences, seminars, one-to-one media interaction with Senior Officials and participation in the events & seminars, etc. Handling all Internal communication tools like newsletters, posters, e-mailers, etc. in coordination with HR Team and External communication tools like brochures, catalogues, banners, posters etc right from conceptualizing, content development, to printing and their distribution across the country. Formulating marketing budgets, communication platform, invitation process and overall consistency in brand presence at all levels; liaising with external partners like event management agencies, Printers, Designers, Photographers etc for smooth execution. Evaluating and participation in various industry related events/ forums /discussions, etc. for sponsorship details and ensuring maximum benefits out of the participation. Handling day to day updation of corporate website and intranet site with company news/events/product launches/press releases/brochures/ communication formats, etc.

Highlights: Played a key role in streamlining the formats and standardization of customer meets, internal employee meets and press conferences etc. Successfully conceptualized and planned the 30 years celebration campaign for internal stakeholders as well as external audience through mainline advertisements and online campaigns. Played an important role in media planning for the new TVC launched around that time, preparation of annual reports etc. Handled the making of two corporate films highlighting the strengths and the vast reach of the company, co-ordination with the production house, organizing the video and photoshoot, client interactions etc. Developed several new marketing collaterals like Comprehensive Corporate brochure, Sales kits etc and archiving of older version collaterals. May03-May05 with Zee Telefilms Ltd., as Marketing Executive Role: Handling all the marketing and communication related activities for four channels i.e. ETC Channel Punjabi, Zee Punjabi, ETC and Zee Kashmir. Conceptualizing and designing innovative sales support materials like presentation of various shows, CD covers, Brochure, Docket Folders, Invitation Cards and Posters, etc. Conceptualizing, planning and organizing events for the channels to enhance the viewership and on-ground promotions for the clients. Handling up-gradation of the website of channel for enhanced interaction and information for the viewers across India and abroad and concept developments to use website as a marketing tool. Conceptualization of successful programming concepts and theme based events and annual properties to enhance the channel viewership Highlights: Successfully organized around 75 live musical events during those two years, each with an on-ground audience size of around 15,000 and more. Road shows, promotional campaigns & events below the line activities, etc. for various clients based on the brand identity and target audience and the objectives defined by the clients. For e.g. Pepsi Ban Ja Stara Yaara contest for Pepsi, Limca Fresh Face of Punjab for Limca, etc. Conceptualized the new format of the annual event Music Awards and incorporated the online voting system and compilation and tabulation of the data for the final judgment.

June02-May03 with Lintas India Pvt. Ltd., New Delhi as Project Consultant

Completed my one year internship from Lintas India Pvt Ltd. from June 2002 to May 2003 as Project Consultant Roles & Responsibilities - My role was to primarily manage the Below The Line activities, promotional campaigns, In-store promotions, Van campaigns, Mela and Fair participations etc for the client as per the guidelines. My responsibility was to achieve the pre-defined targets of the campaign. The work included Team planning and their induction training, daily planning of the whole activity, logistical planning, filing of daily report and sharing the key findings and feedback with the client. Project Details - worked for some of the leading brands like Red Label Tea, Bru Coffee, Ranbaxy, BBC Radio, DS Group etc. The objectives of the projects were different for different brands like to gauge the customer response for product launch, promoting the usage of the product in the new TG, increasing the channel popularity across Bihar and Uttar Pradesh through Van Campaign.
