The developer will work along with other members globally to deliver various pro jects. He will also be responsible to provide third line support for the suite o f applications. Main responsibilities Develop and deliver EM strategic application and interfaces projects Focus on the development and support of application and interface systems and en sure the best practices in development lifecycle while ensuring the timely deliv ery of multiple concurrent projects Be a pro-active part of the development team that support the regional/global ro llout Requirements gathering, analysis and design of any new development or enhancemen t of existing application interfaces Must build a close relation and co-operation with the business stakeholders, sof tware vendor, IT peers as well as global counterparts Carry out full ownership of end-to-end testing with users to successful completi on on work items developed, enhanced or fixed Close coordination with the support team, ensuring proper handover / knowledge t ransfer processes Technical skills: 5 to 8 years of strong development experience in Microsoft .NET / C# including c lient, network, database and services. Demonstrates understanding of OO design and implementation. Background in C++ or Java development experience desirable. Ability to work in legacy technologies such as C++, COM and Visual Basic. Experience of developing distributed solutions with use of network protocol APIs (e.g. sockets, remoting, tibco rv). Experience of full life-cycle, from initial concept right through to live deploy ment and support. Development of high performance, low latency, multi-threaded concurrent applicat ions and strong database skills. Strong proven knowledge and solid experience of T-SQL and Microsoft OS. Essential Business Experience Minimum 5 years of experience in development in financial systems and related en vironments. Proven talent for debugging complex codes and logic design. Fast-learner, proven record of quick delivery and turnaround. Ability to be a fr ont-line support and be an SME/champion of platform components. Passion to work in the technology industry and with a winning team. Reacts well to pressure and changing priorities.
