for healthy growth of their baby. One most important thing that every parent should take care about their baby is to maintain vaccine schedule. Vaccines are very important to protect your baby from illness and other major diseases. When your baby is born, doctor gives complete schedule of vaccinations. You should remember scheduled date of vaccine and take your baby to immunization center to give her vaccine. Some vaccines are in oral type and other are in injection type. Vaccine for 12-15 months: Hemophilus influenza b / Meningitis, Measles, Mumps and Rubella, Pneumococcal Conjugate Vaccine, Varicella (chicken pox) (12-18 months)

Pertussis It can cause due to bacterial infection. Pertussis also known as whooping cough is infectious. DTP vaccine prevent from such childhood disease. Pneumococcal Vaccine Pneumococcal Vaccine is used to protect child from pneumococcal infections. It affects children under age of 5 years. Due to bacterial infection it spread from close contact or from cough. It can also cause disease such as meningitis and pneumonia with the effect of infection. MMR Vaccine

MMR vaccine is used to protect child against measles, mumps, and rubella viruses. Measles World over Measles can affect child at least once. It is infectious virus. Some common symptoms are fever, rashes, cough and many times cause irritation in eyes. Mumps It causes due to viral infection. Mumps cause fever, headache or swelling glands under the jaw. It can also cause deafness, meningitis, swelling of ovaries or the testicles. Rubella Rubella is also known as German measles. It causes pink or reddish rashes starts on the face and affects for three days. If woman affected with rubella during pregnancy it may harmful for baby and can cause birth defect or miscarriage. MMR Vaccine Schedule Between 12 - 15 months Between 4 - 6 years old Hepatitis A Vaccine Hepatitis A vaccine is used to protect your child from hepatitis A virus. Hepatitis A virus is transmitted through unhygienic food and water. It causes a liver disease. Some symptoms of Hepatitis A are fever, vomiting, dark urine, abdominal pain.
