The Hukumnama Mode will open the selected shabad continuously in a scrolling notepad. Click on Hukumnama Display and then select a shabad. After a few seconds, a notepad will appear followed closely by the scrolling Gurbani. To close the Hukumnama mode just click on the cross in the red box in the top right hand corner. This facility is ideal to display the daily Hukumnama in a Gurdwara.
Another way to view the shabad is as a PDF document or Adobe PDF Mode. This mode is useful for printing, mailing and other electronic devices such as PDAS. Select Adobe PDF display mode from the view tab and select a shabad. After a few seconds the shabad will appear as a PDF document. To close the PDF document, just click on the cross in the red box in the top right hand corner.

Under the Options Tab on the ribbon users can alter the way the Gurbani and information appear. Users can select any of the options and use them in combination with any of the View Modes. By selecting Lareevaar the Gurbani will appear without spaces, and by deselecting it, the Gurbani will go back to the default view (with spaces or pad-ched). By selecting or deselecting show Transliteration, it will show or hide the Roman Transliteration for the Gurbani. This is facility has been added for users who know how to read Gurmukhi and do not need to see the Roman Transliteration. By selecting or deselecting show Bisraams it will show or hide the cammas (Bisraams) within a sentence. This is facility has been added to inform users where the pause is to be taken in a sentence. It is also useful when used with Larreevaar in Akhand Paat mode. If you wish to alter the view of the Navigation Bar on the left hand side simply click on Group box and Explorer bar. If you wish to alter the PowerPoint file used in the PowerPoint mode, simply make a selection from the drop down menu. Users can change or alter the background of the PowerPoint. Users can also upload their own designs simply by saving their PPT files in to the same directory at the SikhitotheMax Software.
