This summer we will be heading to New Orleans, LA for the Challenge conference to join 6000 students to worship together

and to hear what it means to really follow Jesus. I am excited about this trip. I hope that you will join us this summer. I know that the cost of the trip is pretty expensive, but I hope that you won't be scared off by that. I think that it is an investment in your spiritual life. My prayer is that God would use this conference to transform your life from ordinary to extraordinary! The nal cost of the trip has not been determined because of the few remaining details. Challenge is a conference for EFCA students that uses high energy worship, powerful and challenging speakers, training and ministry outreach to help students connect with God and what He is doing. PURPOSE Challenge 12 exists to help students redene what it means to love God and love others when Everything Is New WHERE IT IS: Challenge 12 will be July 1-6, 2010 in New Orleans, LA. Our entire conference will be held at the Convention Center in New Orleans. New Orleans is a new site for Challenge. It offers great facilities for our needs and outstanding opportunities for ministry. The facilities are air-conditioned, the Convention Center can hold 6,500 participants.

THEME - Everything is New: everyday, everywhere, forever Daily we are bombarded with messages of new inventions, ideas and experiences that promise to change our lives or fulfill our longings. And yet each day we wake up and it seems nothing has changed. But the promise of the gospel is that everything is new. COST: The nal cost for the trip has not yet been determined, but the total should be around $650. The deposit of $100 is non-refundable. The cost includes lodging, 12 meals, ministry training, recreation, transportation & a group t-shirt. OBJECTIVES All Christians will leave Challenge 2012 with new eyes to see everything in their life through the new lenses of the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ and therefore depending on His Spirit to live a resurrected life everyday, everywhere, 2. All youth groups will leave Challenge 2012 committed to being resurrected communities that seek to live out Colossians 3 and 4 both when they are gathered and scattered. 3. All youth workers will leave Challenge 2012 compelled to lead students into greater identification with Jesus Christs death and resurrection and the ramifications of the Gospel for them as they seek to live on mission with God, together. 4. All non-Christians will leave Challenge 2012 having heard the Gospel proclaimed clearly and been given the opportunity to surrender their lives Christ so that they too can live a new resurrected life through Him.
