1.3 Fuel oil system description Indian JHARSUGUDA independent power plant project 4*600mw units boiler is 24 tangential swing, horizontal and dense dilute burners are divided into 6 layers and assigned to the four angles at the bottom of the boiler; the coal powder and air are conveyed from the four angles and burned in tangential circle in the boiler. The boiler uses the composite Fuel oil with Light Diesel Oil (LDO) and Heavy Furnace Oil ( HFO) . Boiler startup to 10%BMCRs fuel is the LDO and the lower load operation fuel is the HFO. Oil burner total input heat is 30% of MCR. The boiler

ignition system uses the high energy electric sparkle to light the LDO, then light the HFO, coal powder. Use the steam actuator to control the in and out of the high energy electric igniter. This boiler is designed to have one layer LDO guns and three layers HFO guns. In the oil Pump House area, there are Two HFO Steel Tanks ( A & B) Each Capacity 2000 KL, Two HFO Day tank( A& B) Each Capacity 200 KL , Two LDO tank( A & B) Each capacity 300 KL . The oil pumps have three HFO Supply Pumps, two LDO Supply pumps For Main Boiler and one LDO Supply Pump for Startup boiler (Auxiliary Boiler) make up. The oil unloading system has two HFO unloading pumps and two LDO unloading pump. Besides there is one dirty oil pump, one waste water disposal pump, two Drain water pumps and other equipment. Each pump inlet is mounted with oil filter and HFO pump outlet is mounted with Two Heater (1 x 100%). The HFO tanks are mounted with Steam Coils which heating source is come from the auxiliary steam Header (U #2) system.
