They are allowed to join in the promoted post at the present place of working subject to the condition that they are liable to be transfer as per the Transfer Policy adopted by the Zonal Office (South). Their promotions shall take effect from the date they assume charge of the assigned post in the Regions to which now they are posted. They should report for duty to the concerned General Managers where they have been posted now within a period of 30 days from the date of issue of this order, failing which, this promotion order is liable to be cancelled. Their promotions are without prejudice to the claims of the officials who may be senior to them. Their promotion will be subject to the final orders in the Writ Petitions pending in the Courts. They will be on probation for a period of one year with effect from the date they assume charge of their post which may be extended for a further period not exceeding one year at the discretion of the Competent Authority. The General Managers concerned shall serve the orders after ensuring that no vigilance/administrative case is pending against the above mentioned officials. The officials promoted against reserved vacancies should submit the latest Community Certificate within one month from the date of receipt of the order failing which their promotion order is liable to be cancelled. The date of joining of the officials may be intimated to the Personnel Division, FCI, Zonal Office(South), Chennai immediately.
