CYBEROAM CERTIFIED NETWORK & SECURITY PROFESSIONAL Cyberoam security certification programs help security professionals achieve and demonstrate competency in addition to gaining industry recognition for skills in identity-based networking and security as well as in deploying, configuring and managing the Cyberoam CR appliances. With Cyberoam certification, one becomes an expert not just with the current networking and security knowledge, but also with the identity-based security technology that takes future trends into account. The program consists of two certifications - CCNSP and CCNSE - for which instructor-led training is provided on demand. CCNSP and CCNSE are thoughtfully designed to increase efficiency in maximizing the benefits of Cyberoam appliances not only for customers and partners, but also for the certified professionals career. CCNSP (Cyberoam Certified Network & Security Professional) is designed for acquiring expertise necessary for the installation and configuration of all Cyberoam features and functionality. To attain the CCNSP certification, one needs to clear the exam for accreditation after acquiring expertise in Firewalls and VPN, IPS Anti-Virus and Anti-Spam and troubleshooting. Entry Criteria Operational understanding of the following microcomputer topics: the Linux, Microsoft operating system, memory, hard disks, the central processing unit (CPU), communications ports, network adapters, and pointing devices Delegates should have knowledge of the function and uses of local area network (LAN) Hardware, including network cards, cabling, hubs, and routers Pre-requisite Delegates should have basic knowledge of networking concepts, network protocols like TCP/IP and application protocols like HTTP, FTP, POP3, and SMTP etc. Working knowledge of the Microsoft Windows operating system, such as configuring the desktop, using Control Panel, moving and sizing windows, and switching between tasks.
