Beginner knowledge - plugin implementation understanding

Having a technical background, I was able to do the front-end developing for an awareness raising website on Illegal Tobacco. My responsibilities included: slicing and optimising the graphic templates, create a W3C valid xHTML and CSS, test the website to be cross browser compatible (including IE6) and last, but not least, include some jQuery e ects for a better user experience. My biggest achievement: I have understood how important it is for a web designer to have intermediate front-end developing skills, be able to communicate with back-end developers and keep up with the latest technology trends.

One Black Bear

UX Designer June 2010 My work placement at One Black Bear allowed me to take my web design skills to the next level. I have created a platform on which the brand could gather its several online communities and also showcase its products. This included: doing the user research, user segmentation, strategy, information architecture, interface design and a part of the visual design. My biggest achievement: By being a UX team in one, I have raised my web design awareness to a user-centered design practice to create engaging and e cient online experiences.

September 2010 During my 5 week internship at Made Media, I have

created the strategy and interface design for an IPad application, helped the senior web designers and developers with Drupal and Wordpress content management and did the information architecture for a couple of websites. My biggest achievement: I have taken my IA skills to a more professional level and realised the big potential that tablet devices have.
