Greetings to all in the wonderful name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, we are enriched in everything by Him in all utterance and all knowledge, and in Him we live and move and have our being. I would like welcome you all, and to thank everyone for your support in finance, prayers and hard work from last year that helped the church to be what we are today. We did managed to do an evangelism program in town last year, and apart from that some of us were doing their own evangelism on the street, thats all contributed to what we need to do as a church in our community. I would like to thank God for those who for being so faithful in preparing the hall for our service every Sunday, may God bless them for their contribution. Sunday school for the kids was awesome and we thank God for the ladies for their commitment and dedication. Home group was really a blessing, I would like to thank Bro Rob and Deniece Turner and the Buadromo family for catering for our home groups last year. May this year be a blessed year for us as were going to serve the Lord together waiting for His appearing, knowing that He is near, and while we waiting for His appearing we make the most of it by doing the unfinished work of His Kingdom. Telling others the everlasting hope that is found in Christ, there could be some one out there waiting for you to bring the message of hope that we have. Jesus said Go into all the world and preach the Gospel to every creature, and whoever believe will be saved. The size of our church doesnt limit us from doing the work of winning souls to the Kingdom of God. This year we will improve on our street evangelism, and lets pray that we will be more effective in it. God Bless

Purpose of Prayer
Prayer is not a normal part of the life of the natural man. We hear it said that a persons life will suffer if he doesnt pray, but I question that. What will suffer is the life of the Son of God in him, which is nourished not by food, but by prayer. When a person is born again from above, the life of the Son of God is born in him, and he can either starve or nourish that life. Prayer is the way that the life of God in us is nourished. Our common ideas regarding prayer are not found in the New Testament. We look upon prayer simply as a means of getting things for ourselves, but the biblical purpose of prayer is that we may get to know God Himself. Ask, and you will receive . . . (John 16:24). We complain before God, and sometimes we are apologetic or indifferent to Him, but we actually ask Him for very few things. Yet a child exhibits a magnificent boldness to ask! Our Lord said, . . . unless you . . . become as little children . . . (Matthew 18:3). Ask and God will do. Give Jesus Christ the opportunity and the room to work. The problem is that no one will ever do this until he is at his wits end. When a person is at his wits end, it no longer seems to be a cowardly thing to pray; in fact, it is the only way he can get in touch with the truth and the reality of God Himself. Be yourself before God and present Him with your problems the very things that brought you to your wits end. But as long as you have think are self-sufficient, you do not need to ask God you for anything. To say that prayer changes things is not as close to the truth as saying, Prayer changes me and then I change things. God has established things so that prayer, on the basis of redemption, changes the way a person looks at things. Prayer is not a matter of changing things externally, but one of working miracles in a persons inner nature.

Building According to His Pattern

Exodus 25:40 See to it that you built it according to the pattern which was shown you on the mountain. It is
important when we do things for the Kingdom of God, we do it according to the will of God, and His will we will only discover it in the Bible the word of God. It doesnt matter how big or how small the Church is, as long as we following the pattern that is shown in the book it is ok. Few things we can find in the New Testament Church which laid out a great pattern for any Pentecostal Church.
1.

Prayer Meetings Acts 2:42 And they continued

steadfastly in the apostles doctrine and fellowship, in the breaking of bread, and in prayers.

Prayer is part of the church meetings and it took a major role in their fellowship. There was no fellowship without an intensive prayer session.

2. Evangelism The Apostles were not only the leader of the movement, they were also front line in evangelism, preaching the gospel in the Citys market place and in nearby towns, and many people came to the lord. (Acts 4:33, 5:12-16, 8:4) Every church must involve in evangelism. Someone says if Jesus be here in our time you would find Him more on the streets and market place preaching. 3. Planting churches (Acts 8:4) Every community needs a church, a church is the only agency in which God entrusted His will to be carried out in this world. Church is a grooming place for believers preparing them for service and especially for the appearing of the Lord. Jesus gave gifts to the Church for some to be Teachers, Apostles, Evangelist, Pastors and Prophets. Their role to prepare Gods people for every good works.(Ephesians 4:11-12) We cannot do evangelism without having a body of believer to support and fellowship. A church has a very vital role in the lives of a believer, Gods will for every believer to be in a Church, or to be a member of one. Let us pray that God will help the church today to go back to the pattern that is shown in His word. New Zealand needs the Church of Jesus Christ, not to rule politically but to rule spiritually. Let this be our mission, to pray, evangelize, and build a healthy Church that will be a shining light to this beloved nation.

FOOD BASKET
The Church will provide us with a basket for food every Sunday it will be available at the back of the hall and I would to encourage each one of you if you do have an extra groceries

from your shopping you can reserve it for our food basket. We will try to fill up the basket and we will use it for visiting families who in need. Food basket can be a very good way of transmitting Gods message of love to the people in our

community. The Bible teaches us to love and to show the kind of love that the world will know that we are His disciples. Giving is as expression of love, John 3:16 For God so love the world and He gave.. .

FOREIGN MISSION
Mark 16:15 Go into all the world
Two Missionaries in the Pacific Islands we have started to support before the end of last year (2011). We thank God for the opportunity, which God has helped us to participate in the greatest work of His Kingdom.

Christmas Child

VANUATU

Kids enjoying their Christmas gifts Few months before the end of last year Sister Karlien Loubser introduces the Christmas Child gifts to the Church, with no hesitation members took the chance in filling up the boxes, collected and send out to the Samaritans Purse . Operation Christmas Child has reached over 77 million children in 130 countries with Christmas Pastor Joe Beraki and the family gifts since 1990. Every year, generous people across the world lovingly pack shoe boxes with gifts simple, yet powerful messages of Gods unconditional love. And when a child opens a shoe box, theyre opening more than a present lovingly prepared just for them. Theyre opening up their community to a world of life-changing opportunities. Operation Christmas Child has had amazing results over the years and many have testified regarding its impact both on domestic churches (who collect boxes) as well as overseas churches and communities where the boxes are distributed to children in need. As each shoes box gift hand delivered to a child in need, it is treasured by the child that receives it, and is a lasting reminder that he or she is precious to God. The greatest gift that was given to man was Jesus the son of the living God. John 3:16 for God so love the world that He gave His only begotten son that whosoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life Giving is an expression of love, when you truly love some one you will give precious gifts to the one you love. Giving is what we learned from Christ Himself, as it says in the Bible that there is no greater love than this For someone gave his life for the sake of someone else. This year will be another opportunity for you to involve in the Christmas Child Gift. You can pick many boxes you want and return them on the date scheduled for collection. For more information do contact Sis Karlien Loubser.

They been in Vanuatu for more four years now based in the capital, Port Vila. Just last year they have managed to build a new church building for their newly established church. The church financial support has been a great help to the family.
At the end of last year Pastor Joe spend sometime ministering in one of the Islands known as Tanna in the southern part of Vanuatu. The Tanna people are still resisted to change due to their traditional worldview, but the island has also become on of the destination for tourist.

Mission is known as the heartbeat of God, and we know from the Bible in Luke 15:7 there will be more rejoicing in heaven over one sinner who repents than over ninety-nine righteous persons who do not need to repent. It is clear from the scripture passage that winning souls to the Kingdom is what makes heaven rejoice, and that is the business of the Church to win souls to the Kingdom of God. One day when we reach the shores of heaven, we will see souls from the Islands will be there thanking God for the mission work we support. With two hundred dollars a month we send to support Joe and the family doing the work of God there, it may be sounds little but it does a lot there for the family. A missionary with a sustainable financial support is really a great help, it will enable the missionary to put more focus on the work. Let us not only offer our support financially, but also do remember the family in our prayers.

MISSION SUPPORT
All Church members are encouraged to involve in supporting the Missionaries in foreign countries and by doing so you are fulfilling the great commission. Part of the collection we have every Sundays service goes towards the two missionary families in Tonga and Vanuatu

KINGDOM OF TONGA

QUIT IS NEVER WIN!

Pastor Ulaiasi Koroi performed a wedding at the beach

Pastor Koroi baptizing a new soul

Pastor Ulaiasi Koroi with the wife and two kids has been in Nukualofa the capital of the Kingdom of Tonga for some years. After received an arrangement from a pastor informing them that there was a need of someone need to serve as a Pastor in church in which the position as a pastor been vacant. Pastor Koroi never hesitated to take the chance knowing theres a risk involved. There was no financial backing for the position, but the willingness of the heart to obey God was there. It was hard for them when they arrived there, pastor Koroi has to find a way to support the family. They were having their church service in a hall they couldnt even afford to pay the rent, but thats when they started to trust God more when the owner of the hall told them not to pay for the hall. The owner of the hall is a business man and during the uprising in Nukualofa in 2008 people burned down the shops around Nukualofa miraculously the building own by this businessman was not affected.

Pastor Mata visited them back in 2009 on the second hall they moved to since they started; now they have moved to another a bigger hall to cater for the number of people attending their services on Sundays. The report we received from them is telling us the work of God is growing which is very encouraging to hear and know our prayers and financial support is not in vain. We thinking of sending a group there in June this year (2012) to pay them a visit and also to do some street evangelism in the town of Nukualofa, and if you are interested in going, you could see the Pastor. Lets continue to pray for the work in Tonga that they may continue to grow

We are bound to thank God always for you, brethren, as it is fitting, because your faith grows exceedingly, and the love of every one of you all abounds toward each other.

What happen if the clay decided to stay away from the hands of the potter, the answer is easy, there will be no shape, there will be no form of vessel of any kind. Every honorable vessel has to go through a molding process in order to take the shape that is in the mind of the porter. There are many times we dont want to commit ourselves into something because we are afraid of getting hurt, or afraid of loosing something in our lives. Jesus shows us the example committed His life to fulfill the will of the Father to die on Calvary to save mankind. Philippians 2:5 let this attitude be in you which was also in Christ Jesus. Imagined what a good vessel has to go through Selected and soften with water Placed in a spinning will Molded in to shape Heated in the oven Painted with polish All we could see in the end is Glory. Let us stay in the will of God, maybe God hasnt finished yet with your life in shaping you, preparing you for a great ministry. You can ask God to show what he wants you to do. Dont give up easily.
