Of course, who would aspire to be the loser? The desire to own the medals and the trophies scathes the meaning of a game. But as every battle starts and ends, the story of their journey remains.

Lets Get Wet.

Luckily, the chaos is still, uh, manageable.

Now, if anyone here in this event thinks that this rain is still a blessing, please feel free to think again and reconsider accepting that thought. The heavy downpour that this province is currently experiencing has brought some chaos to the athletes, to the coaches, to the officials, to the audience, to the management, to the Breakthrough staff, to the Sangguniang Panlalawigan, to the Sangguniang Bayan, to the Sanguniang Barangay, to the dirty laundry, to the CRs, to the catering, and to all the living beings, both dead and alive, that are involved.

This years SCUAA Meet, in which eight tertiary schools here in the Bicol Peninsula plus the adjacent islands represented themselves athletically, not only showcases the talent of every physically fit Bicolano youth, but also the capacity of our very own institution to play host on a much-anticipated regional event a capacity that, with no doubt, is unfortunately filled with doubt. But we must admit it. If not for the rain, the activities would have run smoothly and classy. The first day of the compe-

tition was indeed soaked. Everyone tried alternatives to shoo the rain away, starting from announcements of game delays, to offering a tray of eggs to a certain saint, and even up to humming the ever-popular nursery anthem Rain, Rain Go Away. Well, the last one didnt work out that well. Sintunado kasi yung kupal na kumanta nun eh. Lets just hope that the rain would still serve as a baptism to all them folks who are duly listed in my opening paragraph. There are still four days left. Four days. Think positive. Four straight days could make something a real something. In the meantime, lets get wet.

I was there. I have witnessed how your face wore your sweetest smile and your bitterest frown. It all started with bliss, and at every moment, youre on your best. You carry in your shoulders a very big name that you resemble. I am your battlefield. I feel lucky to be granted by this moment, this moment to be an object to recognize you, to be a part of your happiness, to be one of your teachers.

CNSC Volleybelles luhod sa BU Spikers

By:Michael E. Gaco

I was there to when you met him, he who signifies the fulfillment of your dreams. His skin was gold and he stood in victorious pride and triumph. In that very short stay of yours, all you do is prove yourself. And that makes every minute exciting. Each day is full of battle. At every battle, you come to know different faces. Each face to remind you of a learning that you have to instill in your mind. Because the most deeply-engraved lesson you have is the lesson you learn from a game. I am CNSC. And I feel much honored to meet you. Good luck on your next battle. Til next time!

It was a close fight, ani Buen na kumamada ng 13 service winners at walong spikes.

By:Michael E. Gaco

Gino Molina (Camarines Norte State College) and Alvin Nicolas (Central Bicol State University of Agriculture) hit the second and third place at times 4:33.68 and 4:36.16 respectively.
