COP collection for emergencies. Members have decided to start collecting second hand clothing that people are going to throw out as well as tinned/ dry food, blankets etc. (Emergency stuff) The stuff will be stockpiled so when there is an emergency, like someones house burns down, there will be clothing, food, blankets on hand to distribute immediately to the victims. We have had a few emergencies where people have needed clothing, blankets, food amongst other things and we have had to run around collecting stuff which can take a few days and in that time the family goes with virtually nothing. The Durban Bluff Accommodation Association is re-launching and upgrading their website.
