Anyone can press on a muscle; Knowing where, how and why, and what happens when we do is the difference between good intentions and an appropriate treatment.
George S. Pellegrino and Victoria L. Magown
After 34 years as a physical therapist I felt I had maxed out my potential to help others. My career has been given a shot in the arm and I am no longer planning to take early retirement. I now have so much more to give my patients. My clinical productivity has increased as my patient attendance has improved. Patients are willing to wait the 2 to 4 weeks necessary for them to be seen for their first visit as they have heard about my new skills. My treatments are more timely and efficient as I can now go right to the problem rather than search for it. This seminar series is so invigorating that I often have to remind myself to inhale. I leave each workshop giddy with excitement. My heartfelt thanks and the thanks of my patients to Vicky and George. Jolinda Dallin, PT - Magdalena, New Mexico
Passion and experience lovingly and clearly married to cutting-edge knowledge well presented. My clients were excited to hear that I was going to another seminar. They are getting increasingly deeper, longer lasting relief. They are telling me to keep learning this stuff! My practice is rocketing because of the results people are getting. It is always a rich and informative experience to be in an AIMS seminar. Thank you Vicky and George. Grant Gibbs, LMT - Anchorage, Alaska

Point Therapists (NAMTPT) Proof of attendance for CE Contact Hours will be issued and may be applicable for Continuing Education requirements in other professions. This course far exceeded my expectations (which were pretty high). This is the first course in many years where the physiology of the neuromuscular system has been so well and thoroughly explained and repeated. Thank you so much! I am on my way to practicing more effectively! You are both excellent teachers. Belinda Griego, PT - Albuquerque, New Mexico Especially in primary care medicine, these functional problems are so important: we live in and use our bodies. These are the best and most useful therapeutic skills Ive encountered in years. Thank you. Stephen Dunlap, MD - Santa Fe, New Mexico Youve opened up my mind and given me the greatest gift; your knowledge. Youve changed my life and my career. Your seminar series was absolutely amazing! Thank you both so much. Mary Smith-Fassler, RN, DOM- Albuquerque, New Mexico Very professional. Exceptionally well organized and geared to the needs of practitioners who are interested in being effective and in developing an active practice. Betsey Stilson, LMT, RN - Cedar Crest, New Mexico

The series begins with Principles and Practices, the prerequisite for the entire series. You are required to take this seminar only one time. It will be given four times during the academic year to allow entry into the series at four junctures. Many participants review the Principles and Practices at least once during the series. Six Core Seminars focus on regional pain and dysfunction David G. Simons while the Advanced Techniques Seminars focus on the mechanical and neurological relationships of involved muscles and joints. The Lab: Clinical Applications seminar provides practical experience developing a treatment plan by employing scenario-based instruction.
This seminar series has had astronomical ramifications for me! The knowledge I have accumulated during the course of your series has enabled me to easily determine a treatment plan for every patient who walks in my door, including patients who need to be referred out. The most important part of this series reminds us to listen to our patients and have compassion for their needs. Barbara Knighton, DOM - Albuquerque, New Mexico

Mara Weber, LMT - Rio Rancho, New Mexico MyoRehab seminars produce results. Every time I take another one of your seminars, I learn tons of new stuff. The investment is better than running a business advertisement in the Yellow Pages. Barbara Knighton, DOM - Albuquerque, New Mexico

After inactivating Myofascial Trigger Points (MTrPs) in muscles that produce postural distortion, joints may remain dysfunctional. This may cause MTrPs to re-establish. You will learn Muscle Energy Techniques to restore normal joint function. This comprehensive expansion of the treatment protocol enables the body to maintain a neutral postural alignment. Identifying and addressing Perpetuating Factors can be the difference between success or failure of any treatment. We will explore the most common of these for the lower body. You will learn how to identify and eliminate them. Prerequisite for this seminar: LB-1. Mid and Low Back LB-2. Hip, Buttock and Pelvic and LB-3. Knee, Ankle and Foot
