As a competitive runner, I find it hard to believe you might win a road race with a jogging stroller but good luck. Reply

February 21, 2012 at 10:14 pm (Edit) What is the age you can put a baby into a baby jogger? Does the answer depend on things like head control? Do you have to wait until they are out of a baby bucket seat? We waited until our first was nearly 9 months old due in part to weather. Our youngest is nearly 4 months with good head control, but cant sit up on his own as yet. He does lounge in a bouncy seat that is similar to the stroller set up looking pretty stabil, but mainly I wondered what other folks experiences have been. Weve seen adapters to have the baby bucket attach to the jogger, but dont want to invest in that accessory. We saw nothing in the manual. Reply

February 29, 2012 at 2:24 pm (Edit) I had the Petit Star and sold it after a couple of months. I am 58 and found it too small and it gave me back ache hunching over it. I also found that if my son sat slightly off centre it would veer off to which ever side he was favouring which made it difficult to push. Ive not seen the baby jogger mini, but if you are tall, I really wouldnt reccommend the petit star. Hope this helps! Reply

February 27, 2012 at 4:23 pm (Edit) I know a few people with baby joggers and more people with the Bobs, mostly the revolution. For a three-wheeled stroller people like the maneuverability and compactness of the BJ City Mini, but it isnt a jogger. For a jogger people like the Bob Revolution over the BJ Summit, Out of the thousand or so products I work with there are probably 10 or so that I dont hear some sort of negative feedback about. I never hear complaints about the Bobs from people who actually own them. I dont think youll be dissatisfied with either stroller though, they both are great. I would recommend going to a store and trying them both and see which one fits your body best. Which are easier for you to fold, which is easier for you to pick up, and which fits best in your vehicle. Hope this helps, Alan Reply

I spoke to the woman from baby-jogger customer service and she said shell send me a new tire but theres a tube that may have become damaged and thats a separate part of the wheel that needs to be paid for. So I may need to get a whole new wheel Has anyone had issues with their baby jogger tire who could help me? Reply

March 6, 2012 at 8:26 pm (Edit) I had a Baby trend, the Expedition, and it sucked. If you actually jog, it was awful!! Even when I was just walking it was bad. I am not sure about your model, but the one I had was horrible. The front wheel would shake so bad that I went and bought an Instep Ultra Runner. I love my new stroller. I jog and walk almost everyday and it is wonderful. The Ultra Runner doesnt have a front swivel wheel, but I dont care. With my Ultra Runner there is an attachment they sell that can transform the

stroller into one that you can place the infant car seat in it. You could try baby trends website and see if they have an attachment like this for your model or call and ask. I didnt know this was possible until I opened my new box and saw a catolog with extras. I would guess it is not recommended because a newborn is not secure enough and big enough in the actual seat and that is why it is recommended they be in their newborn carseat. I jogged with my daughter that young, but she was in her infant car seat in the jogging stroller. If it were me and I wasnt doing any jogging, as long as my snugride fit well I would use it. I would really make sure before hand, but I would use it for light walking. Reply

They are the BEST strollers ever. And they are convertible. I use mine as a stroller and a jogging stroller, and once my daughter is a year old I am also getting a bike attachment. They are very safe, well made and backed by a fantastic warranty. http://www.chariotcarriers.com I have a Cougar 1. My daughter loves it. She has huge windows to look out. There is an attached bug screen, rain cover and sun shade you never have to remember to bring them! This is a fantastic stroller in the winter and the summer! Reply

March 6, 2012 at 1:15 am (Edit) I have not used one for jogging. But a couple of the parents out our center have them and like them for everyday use. The wheels look a bit small for use as a jogging stroller. But it does have a turnable front wheel, which is a major plus in my book. Most of the jogging strollers I have seen have a fixed front wheel, which makes turning them and moving them around obstacles a pain. Reply
