The Parable Of The Tares In The Field Made Easy (Matthew 13:2430 And 13:36-43)

The parable that will be considered in today's teaching is found in Matthew 13:24-30. 24 another parable He put forth to them, saying: "The kingdom of bliss is like a man who sowed good seed in his field ; 25 but while men slept, his enemy arrived and sowed tares one of the wheat and went their way. 26 But when the actual grain had sprouted and produced a crop, then the tares also appeared. 27 So the servants of the proprietor came and said to him, 'Sir, did you not plant good seed in your field How then does it have tares?' 28 He said to them, 'An enemy has done this particular.' The servants said to him, 'Do you want all of us then to go and collect them up?' 29 But he said, 'No, lest while you gather up the tares you also uproot the whole wheat with them. 30 Let both grow together until the harvest and at the time of harvest I will say to the reapers, "First gather together the tares and bind them in bundles to burn them, but gather the wheat into my barn."' " For many years, this parable eluded me. I did not fully understand this story about the tares that Jesus associated. It says that the wheat and the tares are developing in the same place. It also says that the enemy sowed the tares. Well, we know that the enemy of the vineyard is Satan. If the wheat and the tares are growing in one place, well then it could be the fact that they're growing in the church. Once the wheat is gathered, Satan comes and sows their tares in the church. In the succeeding verses, Matthew 13:3-43, Jesus provided the explanation of this parable. The passage says: 37 he or she answered and said to them : "He who sows the great seed is the Son of man. 38 The field is the world, the good seeds are the son's of the kingdom, but the tares are the sons of the evil one. 39 The enemy who sowed them may be the devil, the harvest is the end of the age, and the reapers are the angels. 40 Therefore as the tares tend to be gathered and burned in the fire, so it will be at the end of this age. 41 the Son of Man will send away His angels, and they will gather out of His kingdom everything that offend, and those who practice lawlessness, 42 and will cast them into the furnace of fire. There will be wailing as well as gnashing of teeth. 43 Then the righteous will sparkle forth as the sun within the kingdom of their Father. He who has ears to hear, let him hear! So, presently there we go. There are tares in the church and the bible says that they are sowed through the enemy; so we've got to watch out for them, the false brethren in the church. This is true. Certain people in the church have got open minds and minds for the things of god but they just haven't arrived at a level where the Spirit offers ministered to them to the point of salvation. So, it's a good thing to possess non-Christians in your church. It is better than them being lower the beach. It's much better than having them down the park. People seem to look down on non-Christians but Jesus loves people who are not redeemed. Most of the times they're open to the Gospel; this gives hope that our time in it will not be wasted. I've obtained a good friend who right now comes to my church. Your woman loves singing the tunes and the choruses. She's very open to church. But she just hasn't opened her heart to Jesus.

But the tares are not necessarily in churches only. Christ said that the field is the world ; and He meant the whole world. That is outside the church. It's everywhere you go. "The seeds are the sons of the kingdom, but the tares are the sons of the wicked one," verse 38 states. You are the son of the evil one right up until the time you're saved. Once saved, christ comes and bursts their light upon your heart. Consequently, after you've made a confession of faith that you believe Christ has risen in the dead and saved you against your sins, you become a Christian, a child of righteousness. And it says in Scripture, those that were given in order to Jesus, He won't lose. Many people, including myself up until eight weeks ago, believe that a Christian can lose his salvation; that one can be saved, then fall away and lose their salvation through sin. I don't believe that anymore. I believe the Holy Spirit is good enough to turn anybody around. I believe that god looks upon the heart associated with His children. Anyone that looks at his works of righteousness or their own personal holiness to enter the kingdom of heaven is a person who places little stock and faith in the perfect work that was achieved on the cross associated with Jesus Christ for us sinners. The righteous are righteous when they're saved. Jesus Christ imputed His righteousness on them even if they don't look as though they're too righteous. In God's eyes, they're righteous because He sees His son's blood covering them. "And the enemy who sowed the tares is the demon." The earth is run by minions of the demon. What's so powerful about the devil in the life of a nonChristian is that the unbeliever is not even aware that a good proportion of his thoughts, motives and temptations come from the bad one. Some Christians who have been in the faith for sometime are not aware of how often Satan speaks to them, how often Satan tempts them to do certain things. Every time you're tempted to speak out against someone or gossip to someone, the time you spend on the internet when you're supposed to be operating, the times you take pens and stationery home from your workplace, the times that you don't feel resulted in give to the Lord in tithing, all the sins that you commit are temptations of the evil one. If Christians aren't devoid of being tempted, so much more is a person who is not saved. They're children of the devil. They're not children of God. The enemy has got a big marketing campaign to keep people in the darkness. For many, many years, I was within darkness about the true righteousness and the finished work of Jesus on the cross. For several years, I had a spirit of religion and legalism. And that i believed that my own good functions was making my answer possible. I believed basically didn't behave, if I didn't read the Bible, do good works, go to church and do a whole lot of ministry for the Lord, there was a high probability I was going to go to heck. I thought certain sins i had been involved in were taking me personally to hell. I was sure up. I was a very unsatisfied Christian. Since the Lord has resurrected me and opened my eyes, I've been a new man. A weight was lifted off my shoulder blades. This book is something how the Lord has inspired me to write. It's not something that i feel compelled to do because i wish to earn my way to heaven. Verse 40 says, "therefore as the tares are gathered and burned in the fireplace, so it will be at the end of the age." The book of Revelation speaks of 2 harvests. Jesus is referring to that here in verse forty one : "The

Son of Man will be sending out His angels, and they will gather out of His empire all things that offend and those who practice lawlessness." To people who come to Jesus and stated, "Lord, Lord, didn't all of us do signs and wonders and prophecy in your title" Jesus replied, "Depart through me, you who exercise lawlessness." (Matthew 7:twenty three ) You see, you can just get to heaven through the finished work of Jesus Christ. If you try to appeal to god and earn your way to heaven through your own functions or the works of the law, you fail. Lawlessness, this says in 1 john, is sin and all sin is lawlessness. Practicing lawlessness is doing things that are bad. But the main point here is that the people who offend Him are going to be cast to the fire, in verse 42, "and will cast them into the furnace of fire." they are people who are not saved. Jesus loves everyone. His blood that was shed on the cross was for every single individual. Jesus wants every single one on this earth to be saved. The wrath of God is not kindled against any person. There's a lot of compassion, love, grace as well as mercy flowing from the throne towards wicked men. The people who don't know God have right up until the time that the angels reap the world for the opportunity to come to know God. When those angels come out in order to reap the earth of the non-Christians, then their time is up. So, it's up to all of us to share this book with this non-Christian friends. To show them that there is coming a time that Jesus talked about where if they do not profess faith within Jesus, walk in righteousness and live in the kingdom of the light, they are going to be collected up and thrown into hell where there'll be weeping and gnashing of teeth. The teeth of the unsaved are going to be like that, rubbed collectively in agony. They will continually weep. Verse 43 states, "Then the righteous will sparkle forth as the sun within the kingdom of their Father. He who has ears to hear, allow him hear!" That is exactly what it says about the righteous. It's an exciting verse! the actual righteous shall shine such as the sun. In Daniel 12 :3 seems to confirm this : 3 Those who are wise shall shine Like the brightness from the firmament, And those who turn numerous to righteousness Like the superstars forever and ever. Christians are the ones referred here as the actual "wise" who "shall shine like the brightness of the firmament." The word "firmament" can be a heavy word; but you can look up through the internet what it indicates. The verse continues on by saying, "And those who turn many to righteousness like the stars forever and actually." Not all of us have got the actual gift of evangelism. NOt everybody has the ability to share the Gospel. This book will be obtainable one day in a PDF type that's free. At the back of the book, there'll be a file address where you can just send the book to hundreds of your friends for free. So, this is a way you could save many people from this burning hell. Also, if you invest money in foreign missionaries, like Heidi Baker of Iris Ministries or many other ministries in the east, your money can be used to conserve many souls. You can become one of

those who turn many to righteousness through your investment and shine like a star forever and ever. So, I hope that you've learned something from the unpacking of this tale. Jeremiah 29
