Open Education Week 2012 Virtual Workshop on Mainstreaming Open Education by United Nations University and Like-Minded Date:

March 5th to 10th Location: https://unu.etherpad.mozilla.org/1 --- Workshop Outline --This virtual workshop asks what is holding back Open Education (OE) and looks into mainstreaming strategies at institutional level, from best practice to lessons learnt. The objective of the workshop is to reflect on possible solutions and strategies that can help to mainstream OE at an institutional level; including existing best practices and key lessons learnt. As a discussion base the workshop organizers will provide some baseline information outlining what OE is understood to be and on key definitions and aspects of OE. Running from 5-10 March 2012, the workshop will be run virtually via https://unu.etherpad.mozilla.org/1 and consists of synchronous and asynchronous question and answer and collaborative development sessions. There will be one 1h synchronous chat (via etherpad) per day moderated by the workshop team, which can be followed by asynchronous discussions.
