University of Coburg: Germany May 2010 Expanded knowledge of European agriculture and trade practices through a ten-day countrywide tour.

Experience

KBIA Radio-NPR Affiliate, Advanced Reporter: Columbia, Mo. September 2010-Present Produced and edited news stories for weekly focused programming. Anchored four afternoon newscasts once a week. Updated website content for newscasts. Focused work in projects such as My Life, My Town, and Food, Fuel and Fiber Dialogues. Missouri Soybean Association, Intern: Jefferson City, Mo. June-December 2011 Assisted in the coordination, development and implementation of statewide educational initiatives. Planned a media luncheon and press conference for 20 media outlets and 60 guests. Launched and maintained associations social media presence on sites such as Facebook and Twitter. Developed internal online newsletter for staff and managing boards. Guest writer for Missouri Soybean Farmer- a statewide publication. Brownfield Ag News, Intern: Jefferson City, Mo. October 2010May 2011 Responsible for writing agricultural news for three states and Health Living Program. Conducted multiple interviews with leaders in the agriculture industry. Responsible for writing online news content and posting photography.
