1. Preparation for Debate The teacher tells the students that they will have a debate seesion. Before the debate begins, the students will work in pairs with a friend sits next to him/her. Each pair will decide who is going to be in the affirmative team and who is going to be in the negative team. Each team then will discuss more on the related topic. 3.
