Is this course mandatory for me? Yes. All Cognizant recruits of 2010 batch have to complete this e-learning course before entering the Campus Associate Training Program at Cognizant Academy. Cognizant has tied up with Element K to provide basic training to all recruits much before they join the organization. This helps us bring all the recruits like you to a consistent level of job-preparedness before stepping into Cognizant.

Is there a deadline for completing the e-Learning module? As of now, we urge you to concentrate on your University/ Semester examinations. Please do take the eLearning modules ONLY after you complete your final semester examinations.

I have already done a similar course through NIIT or other training schools. Should I still take this course? Absolutely yes. Irrespective of whether you have completed a similar course or not, our policy requires you to complete this training module.

Do I have to take up the assessment section after every module? Yes. All module assessments are mandatory. You have to complete them with a minimum 75% score. You can make any number of attempts to complete each assessment with the said score. This ensures that you have a thorough understanding of each of these fundamental subjects. Are there any optional modules? No. All modules are mandatory. Will completion of the course entitle me to priority joining? Completing the course before joining Cognizant is mandatory for all recruits. But it does NOT entitle you to priority joining. As mentioned earlier, please do take up the eLearning modules ONLY after you complete your final semester examinations. After completion of the course, do I need to inform the Cognizant HR team? Once you complete the coursework, an automatic alert will be triggered to the Cognizant HR Team. Hence, there is no need for you to inform the campus team separately.

I am not accepting the Cognizant offer. Do I still need to take up this training? No. We completely respect your decision. If you are not taking up the Cognizant job offer, please write to campus@cognizant.com confirming your decision. Do not forget to mention your TFF Id.

One of my fellow Cognizant recruit has not received the mail for completion of the training module? Your friend may not have updated his/her correct mail ID in the system; or it could also be due to some mail server issues. Please ask your friend to immediately write to campus@cognizant.com with the TFF ID.
