Mustang

Saddle up for the ride of your life. The Citation Mustang.

3

Much has changed in the 35 years weve been building business jets. But the type of person we build them for has not. Citation operators chart their own courses. They make their own luck. But even the most calculated of risks are not acceptable when it comes to their aircraft. Thats why they have chosen the line of business jets known throughout the industry as the Sure Thing. Now, this extraordinarily high level of performance and assurance is available in a jet aircraft costing millions less. Its called the Citation Mustang, and its thundering onto the business jet landscape like no other aircraft in more than two decades. The unprecedented enthusiasm for the Mustang dramatizes the worlds enormous desire for jet performance at or below turboprop prices. Its a clear indication that todays aircraft operators are no longer satisfied with yesterdays technology. The Mustang message is resonating with aviators across the globe: Now you can have the speed and climbing power of a jet at a price you can afford and true cabin-class comfort for passengers. And you can do it in the one aircraft of its kind that is designed, built and supported by the entire Sure Thing organization known as Cessna Aircraft Company.

Citation certainty on a whole new plane.

Mustang Heritage

After all is said and done, designing, building and supporting Citations has always been about keeping the promises we make to our customers. In that respect, the Mustang is no exception. But if youre a Mustang customer, its also about keeping a promise you made to yourself: the vow to someday fly your own jet. Its the promise to discard 50-year-old turboprop technology in favor of the state-of-the-art advantages of a jet. And perhaps most of all, its the vow to fly the kind of aircraft that is an extension of yourself and a reflection of your take on life. Call it style. Or maybe intensity. Call it your passion. Whatever the name, when it arrives as the Citation Mustang, it will deliver exhilarating 340-knot speed. At just under 400 mph, the Mustang is significantly faster than old-technology turboprops. Its pure-jet performance will enable you to climb swiftly to 41,000 feet far above most weather and virtually any prop. And it will give you the power to take off from just 3,110 feet of runway and range more than a thousand miles across half a continent.

Have fun. Will travel.

Mustang Performance

Quality time meets personal space.

How guests are treated says a lot about the host. The same is true of airplanes, their operators and passengers. The Mustangs preeminence isnt limited to performance and outward appearance. Step through the door and take a hard right. Youll find yourself in the kind of cabin comfort and exquisite decor once reserved for aircraft costing millions more. With its six large oval windows and club seating, the Mustang cabin feels wide open the way flight should feel. Theres a high-end, hand-crafted luxury sedan sensation about the space. But unlike an automobile interior, this one comes with dropped aisle, executive tables, cold refreshment storage, all-leather seats, lush wool carpeting, toilet and a long list of other welcome features all of which are standard. With fore and aft external baggage compartments, passengers wont have to share this impeccable venue with bulky gear. And that venue is library-quiet and vibration-free.
Both standard and optional equipment shown.

Mustang Comfort

Executive Tables Convenient executive tables deploy from the side ledges for in-flight productivity, and then stow out of the way when its time to relax and enjoy the ride.

Aft Seats The Mustangs two-place aft bench seat features an integrated center storage console with fold-down armrest, standard 12-volt outlet and convenient beverage holders.

Executive Seating With styling appropriate to any high-end luxury vehicle, the two all-leather deep-cushioned seats feature stowable armrests and recline for added stretch-out room and comfort.

Cabin Storage
In the forward cabin area, a combination cockpit divider/storage cabinet and side-facing toilet make optimum use of available space for in-flight essentials.

Fore and aft external baggage compartments allow ample storage for luggage and personal gear, while simplifying loading. The aft baggage area wall is recessed to accommodate skis. Total external baggage capacity is a remarkable 57 cubic feet.
Both standard and optional equipment shown.

Mustang Avionics Features

As an optional feature, electronic charts can be viewed to address approach, departure and arrival procedures.

SafeTaxi gives you a unique view of your airport with live graphical depiction of your position from ramp to runway.

Terrain Awareness and Warning System (TAWS) provides real-time vision of the immediate and long-range terrain environment.

Broadcast graphical weather delivers current data for precise updates and better flight planning.

Garmin G1000 Integrated Avionics.

Because it delivers at-a-glance awareness that is comprehensive and intuitive, the Garmin G1000 integrated avionics suite was chosen for the Mustang front office. Consolidating all primary flight, navigation, engine and sensor data onto large, easy-to-scan flat-panel displays, the three-screen Garmin G1000 avionics suite significantly reduces pilot workload, while providing the ultimate measure of situational awareness. Located between the flight decks two 10.4-inch Primary Flight Displays (PFDs) is the largest Multi-Function Display (MFD) found on any business jet. The 15-inch display is just one feature (albeit a huge one) designed for natural and seamless monitoring of flight information. Everything from aircraft attitude and air data to engine instrumentation, real-time weather, traffic and terrain can be gathered and assimilated in a click. A three-axis digital autopilot, teamed with dual RVSM compliant flight data computers, provide complete flight management functionality to ease cockpit workload and contribute to safe and straightforward flight. In addition, a Full Authority Digital Engine Control (FADEC) system is also standard. FADEC enables easier starts and easier operation of the engines. It also eliminates residual thrust, greatly simplifying the job of maintaining manageable taxi speeds.
Both standard and optional equipment shown.

Even flying solo, youre never alone.

One of the Mustangs best features is on the ground. Long before the first Citation ever rolled off the line, we had already built Cessna Service Centers to support it. Today, the present and future needs of Mustang operators are being assured by Cessna-owned Citation Service Centers and Authorized Citation Service Facilities across the globe. The industrys largest, most comprehensive, dedicated worldwide network has nearly doubled its capacity in recent years. Most locations offer 24-hour, seven-day-a-week support across a broad spectrum of services. So its no surprise that Cessna support is ranked No. 1 by the aviation community. The Mustang carries a comprehensive warranty covering airframe, components, avionics and engines. In addition, you can budget accurately with no surprises when you sign up for Cessnas ProParts, PowerAdvantage, PowerAdvantage+, ProNav and ProTech programs. And with the Cessna Contract Fuel Card, you can save from 20 to 30 percent on jet fuel purchases. As part of our commitment to being your Sure Thing, Cessna has allocated more than $1 billion in people, training, parts and facilities to provide Citation operators with unparalleled service around the world.
