SELECTED ACCOMPLISHMENTS
Reallocated equipment, avoiding $3.5M in costs. Hewlett Packard was disposing of valuable materials due to storage cost. Established three worldwide parts depots, consolidating and redeploying current voice/data equipment. Redeployed $3.5M of equipment, saving the company from buying replacements at higher costs. Recouped $1.5 million dollars for company in equipment sale. Obsolete equipment was being scrapped at Hewlett Packard. Developed a process for recovering additional equipment value. Qualified a vendor to auction the equipment. Recovered $1.5M by selling obsolete voice and data equipment. Reconciled hundreds of disputes, freeing cash flow. Accounts payable at Johnson Controls had a backlog of over 500 disputed items. Resolved the negative impact to the bottom line by reconciling 400 issues, releasing $450K. Advised on procedures to avoid future accounts payable backlogs. Designed a forecast model, improving cash flow management. National Power Corporation did not have a process to forecast usage that led to cash flow issues. Designed a report that was integrated into existing software that provided a 12 month power usage forecast combined with the rate table to determine a cost forecast.

CAREER HISTORY
Total Asset Manager, Northwest Software, 2009 to 2011. Contracted to Hewlett Packard to manage the voice and data equipment for the IT Global Telecom Group. Managed the overall life cycle of all voice and data materials including initial requirements, acquisition, deployment, recovery and retirement. Senior Financial Analyst, Johnson Controls Inc., 2007 to 2008. Prepared in-depth financial and operational analysis of the monthly financial results for multiple regions. Identified the drivers behind budget variances and partnered with operations, recommending and implementing corrective actions to stay within budget. Operations Manager, National Power Corporation, 2005 to 2007. Created and maintained financial models for budgeting and variance analysis for retail electricity provider. Managed billing, credit and collection operations for 7,000 accounts. Designed and instituted power usage audit reports and system upgrades, streamlining operations. Operations Analyst III, Metropolitan Transit Authority of Houston, 2001 to 2005. Built financial and cost allocation models for the operations support team of Houstons mass transit bus system.
