Iattractedmyaudiencebyusingdarkcolourssuchasred andnavy thatarequiteboldandwillstandoutandgo wellwiththecolourwhiteasmyaudiencepreferred darkercolours.Thisinformationwasobtainedfrommy questionnaire.Iusedredforthemastheadbecauseit stoodoutagainstthedarkbackground,thereforeit wouldgrabthetargetaudiencesattention.Iusedwhite forthecoverlinesonthefrontcoverasitalsostandsout ontopofthedarkbackground. Thepriceofthemagazinewouldalsoattractthe audiencebecausefrommyquestionnaireInoticeda majorityofpeoplewerewillingtopay12foramusic magazinesoIhavepricedmymusicmagazineat1.50. ThetitleIusedonthepreliminarytaskwassituated atthetopleftcornerofthecover,whereasthetitle ofmymaintaskissituatedinthemiddletakingthe widthofthecoverandhadeffectslikedropshadow donetoit. ThemainimagesIusedbothfollowedthe conventionsastheybothtakeupthemajorityofthe pageandbothhavetheattitudeofthegenreofthe magazine.Thequalityofthephotographshavemuch differencetoeachotherasthephotoformymain photoformymaintasklooksmoreprofessionalasit hasbeeneditedwitheffects. ThearrangementofthecoverlinesIusedinmy preliminarytaskwerealloverthepagewhereasin mymaintaskthecoverlinesaremoreorganisedand sticktotheoutersidesofthemagazine.From learningtheconventionsofprofessionalmagazinesI usedthecoverlinestoframemymainimageand nottocrowdthepageinmymaintask.Also,my coverlinesstandoutmoreasIhaveaddeddrop shadowswhereasinmypreliminarytaskIdidnot havethat. Thecolourschemeofmypreliminarytaskwasyellow,purpleandwhitedidnotmakethe magazineeasytoreadastheywereallprettylightcoloursandthismeantthatthetextdidnot standoutontopofeachother.Iamendedthesemistakesinmymaintaskbyusingadarker backgroundwithredandwhiteasthetextstoodoutmore.
