The auditions were successfully held in various parts of Tamil Nadu. Then the top 5 Singers were moved into the new Grand Set. The new set was a new one for Airtel Super Singer. The season was hosted by Divya. Saicharan won the competition (on audience votes and not by the judges score) and his prize was a house worth 40 Lakhs given by Temple green Arun

Sathya Prakash (adjudged to be the best performance in finals by the judges.They were badly disappointed and emotional with the final results, as they considered Sathya Prakash to be deserving the winning title) won 2nd Runner Up and his prize was 3 lakhs (IND).
