Lenten Spirituality: The Churchs three Lenten traditions are prayer, penance/fasting, and almsgiving. Besides our weekend liturgies, our scheduled times for prayer include our 8:30 AM Tuesday Mass, and each Wednesday during Lent, the Rosary at 6:00 PM, the Stations of the Cross at 6:30 and a Communion service at 7:00 you may attend any or all parts. Our Church is open for private prayer during Parish Office hours. Lenten devotional material for adults, families and children is available on the table near the loft stairs, including the weekly Word to Go reflection sheets. Holy Orders: Called to Serve: Through the grace of the Holy Spirit, the man who is ordained is configured to Christ as priest, teacher, and pastor. What do these three examples of Christ mean to you? What does In the person of Christ really mean for our Priests who serve us every day? This week our Why Catholic? small groups will be discussing the Priesthood of Jesus Christ and how we are all called to serve. For more information on Why Catholic? contact Carl Fahringer in the parish office, or contact your facilitator. Jammin in Jamaica and Haiti: Please join our parish youth for their annual "Jammin' In Jamaica and Haiti" Spring celebration! Great food and games on Sunday, March 11th, after Mass, in the parish hall! Funds raised will go to our brothers and sisters in Jamaica and Haiti. Hope to see everyone there!
