Two-day faculty development workshop on Low Power Embedded Systems using MSP430 Microcontroller at SJCE, Mysore (Jan 11-12, Mysore) Sri Jayachamarajendra College of Engineering will host a two-day workshop on MSP430 microcontrollers, in collaboration with TI India University Program and Cranes Software International Ltd. This Faculty Development Program will be useful to teachers who will teach a course on Microcontrollers, based on MSP430. Teachers from the region will be given priority. Ltd., Bengal Engineering and Science University will host a seminar on Wireless Health by Gene Frantz, Principal Fellow, Texas Instruments, and a one-day workshop on MSP430 microcontrollers. Experts from Texas Instruments (India), CDAC, DigiKraft Technologies Pvt. Ltd. will conduct the lectures and hands-on sessions. This event is open to professionals, teachers, and students. TI India-sponsored MS Program in Analog and Mixed Signal Design at IIT Madras


Are you passionate about Analog IC and System Design? Then consider applying for a Research Associate position in the Department of Electrical Engineering at IIT Madras to pursue MS (by research) in Analog and Mixed-signal Design! This program is a joint initiative of TI India and IIT Madras. Research Associates will be eligible for a minimum salary of Rs 20,000/- per month. The students will have a chance to work on industry-relevant problems and fabricate a state-of-the-art IC. Research guidance will be provided by

New Book on MSP430!


MSP430 Microcontroller in Embedded System Projects, edited by C.P. Ravikumar, has been published by Elite Publishing House (New Delhi). The book will be released in Jan 2012. The book compiles student projects carried out using the MSP430 microcontroller at Indian universities.
