EXPRESSION OF INTEREST (EOI) for Empanelment of Consultant

Bihar Industrial Area Development Authority (BIADA) Govt. of Bihar undertaking invites expression of interest (E.O.I.) for selection of Consultancy firm for preparation of Project Report for Drainage system at industrial Area (Bihiya, Barauni, Gidha, Patliputra, Fatuha, Hajipur, Muzaffarpur, Bettiah, Kumarbag, Munger, Bela, Darbhanga, Pandual, Sitamarthi, Raxsual, Purniea (Maranga), Bhagalpur (Barari). Services to be provided by the Consultant Company 1. Preparation of project report for drainage system of above mentioned industrial areas. 2. Selected consultancy firm shall be required to prepare the above project report on the basis of Govt. Guide-lines and also have to submit the following (1) contour map of the area showing road, existing building & industries as well as existing Drain (if any) (2) Drainageplanning of the industrial area clearly showing reach wise Discharge slope etc. (3) Fixation of out fall point (4) Planning and Layout map should clearly indicate the individual discharge of each channel and cumulative discharge at the out fall point (5) Drainage planning should be done keeping in view that the effluent water of industrial Area should reach first to common effluent treatment plant &after treatment it should be finally drained out along with the storm water. (6) Pumping of Drainage water, if required, along with detailed specification of pump & assoceries (7) Land acquisition if any along with proposal. (8) L-Section & Cross Section of parent/carrier channel at interval of 10 M in 100 M-U/S & 100 M-/D/S (9) Location of CETP. Eligibility Criteria. 1. The applicant should be a company under operation and registered under the companies Act 1956 . 2. Te annual consultancy fee of the company should not be less than Rs. 50 Lacs in each last three financial years. 3. The company should have similar experience of preparation of project report for drainage system . 4. The Engineers of the firm must be well qualified & should have deep knowledge of Drainage system. Submission Detail (E.O.I.) Interested Companies must provide information indicating that they are qualified to perform the services and may associate to enhance their qualification. Interested qualified & experienced companies are requested to submit their expression of interest (EOI) by submitting the following documents:1. Comprehensive profile of the company. 2. CV of Key personnel of Company having experience of preparation on of project report for drainage system.

3. Proof of registration of Company along with MOA and AOA. 4. The audited annual accounts of the company for the last three financial years. 5. A non-refundable Demand Draft of Rs. 5000/- in favour of BIADA payable at Patna, drawn on any schedule Bank as processing fee. 6. Sufficient evidence of successfully completed such type of work must be enclosed along with proper certificate from competent authority. 7. The EOI should be submitted in two bids scaled in separate envelopes Technical bid & financial bid. The Rate Quoted shall be on the basis of per hectare of Industrial Area. For example Rs/Per hectare of industrial area in words & figure. 8. Bank Guarantee of Rupees 2 Lacs as security deposit shall be required at the time of signing Agreement & the completion period will be of 4 Months from the date of signing of Agreement. 9. Short listed firms shall be emplaned in BIADA for the said work for 3 years. 10. The pre bid Meeting will be 13.02.12 at 3 PM in udhyog Bhawan, Patna at BIADA conference hall. 11. The interested applicant may submit their EOI in a sealed envelope clearly marked "EOI for empanelment of Drainage consultant" on or before 24-02-2012(15:00 Hrs.) at the address mentioned below:Consultant, (P.I.) 1st floor, Udhyog Bhawan, East Ghandhi Maidan, Patna. EOI from companies failing to provide the required information will be rejected. The EOI will form the basis of qualification and short listing of Consultant Company. BIADA reserve the right to accept or reject any application and to call the selection process at any time without incurring any liability and without are assigning reason thereof.
