About Colour Ring Labels for Wireless BTS

During the project implementation of BTS, sectors of antennas may be incorrectly or reversely connected if the antennas are not properly identified. In this case, the network quality decreases and the BTS need be adjusted repeatedly. To identify the relationship of antenna sectors, standardize the usage of labels for the feeder cables in the project implementation, and avoid the reverse or incorrect connection of antenna, please stick color rings to both ends of the feeder cables before distributing the feeder cables. The specifications of identifying antennas with color ring labels are as follows: Stick color ring labels at two positions where the cabinet top and the antenna jumper are 200mm away from the connectors of feeder cables. Stick color ring labels at the two positions on the feeder cable, including the positions where the two ends of the feeder cable is 200mm away from the connectors. Engineering personnel implement the project according to the specifications of color ring labels. After the antennas are installed, the engineering supervisor checks the installation and engineering quality according to the installation manual. Site sector default definition: the north direction sector is sector 1, and according to the clockwise, the next sectors are sector 2 and 3.
