Profile: Result-oriented and highly dedicated to health system development and disease control; 25 years of experience project management, networking and advocacy skills, Public health, Health system strengthening, institutional and organisational development. Serving as an independent consultant to Stop TB Partnership, WHO, GFATM, World Bank, IUATLD/The Union, Euro Health Group, Liverpool Associates for Tropical Health, Global Health Advocates in the areas of TB control, ACSM and Health System Development. National Advisor/ Project Coordinator, Danida Assisted Revised National Tuberculosis Control Program (DANTB) in India, (Full time), Danida, Royal Danish Embassy, 11, Aurangzeb Road, New Delhi, India: Responsibility and achievements : Successfully planned and implemented; Tuberculosis Control (DOTS) Program in 30 districts in the state of Orissa covering 39 million people in collaboration with Government of India and State of Orissa. Job includes capacity building of health system strengthening and training of health staff and collaboration with various international agencies, NGOs, medical schools, and industries towards DOTS adaption and expansion, implemented various community based model in TB control programme, organized National level training program on Health communication, provided technical assistance in production of web based IEC resource center and produced Health Communication Strategy for RNTCP India TB programme.
