Research Methodology: Research Methodology is a way to systematically solve the research problem.

It is a science of studying how research is done scientifically. This research has undergone with main objective to find out the attitude of employee and their satisfaction level of work environment in Madura coats limited, Madurai Research Design: Descriptive research is defined as fact finding with adequate interpretation fact finding would involve just data gathering. In descriptive research its involved in the form of reflective thinking. Reflective thinking relates the fact gathered to the objectives and the assumption of the study. It, therefore, means that the descriptive research entitles an objective and assumption behind the objective. The method of research the researcher utilized is survey method. Sampling design: The sampling method used in this research was simple random sampling .simple random sampling method is used in this research is a type of probability sampling. The researchee the chooses sampling unit based on the easy of accessibility. Sampling size: The sample size used for this research is 115 which are calculated from a population of 573 total workforce. Collection of Data: Data for this study is collected by the researcher through primary and secondary sources Primary Sources data: Data are collected through administered questionnaire and interviewing The following methods are used to collect the primary data.

Questionnaire method This research work makes use of structured questionnaire to elicit information from various employees.

interview scheduled method - This research work makes use of personal interviews of various employees and management staff regarding The main soul of the information for this research is collected from the employee

Secondary Sources data The Secondary Data are those which have already been collected by someone else and which have already been passed through statistical process. The secondary data is collected with reference of manuals, books, journals and Coats website. The information regarding various welfare facilities provided under different acts. Especially under Factory Act and facilities provided by the organization was collected from magazines and reference books. Questionnaire Construction: The questionnaire is a medium to communication between the investigator and respondents. The effectiveness of the research depends on the questionnaire .The questionnaire contains closed ended questions and open ended questions. The questionnaire includes scaling techniques like likerts rating scale and ranking. The Questionnaire used in this study is comprised of two parts. The first part contains question about demographic profiles of the respondents including Name, Sex, Department, Designation, Period of service were used. The Second parts of questions were framed based on the objective of the study. The research consist of factors like job, welfare facilities of employees, wages, salary administration, promotion, supervision, working conditions etc Tools and techniques: The researcher besides the collection of data and analysis of data , has to draw inference and explain their significance . The task of drawing conclusion and inference from analysis of data is interpretation. Statistics is efficient tool in the analysis of research data .The tools used for this research for analysis is

Percentage analysis Weighted average Chi square Percentage analysis: Percentage are mostly used in data presentation. The use of percentage analysis ,the data are reduced into standard form with base equal to 100.This percentage analysis faciltites a relative comparision . Percentage =number of respondents/Total no of responses*100 Weightage Average method: Weightage average method is defined as an average whose component item are multiplied by certain value(weights) and the aggregate of products are divided by the total number of item .In order to identify the relative importance of item in the distribution ,its essential allocate weights to item .This method is used to assign rank to determine which factor is most preferred. Mean Score = Total Score / Total Weight Chi Square : Chi-square is used to find out the association between two variables. To judge the significance of association between two attributes Chi-Square(x2 )test is a statistical tool to test hypothesis

Limitation of the study: The study is confined to T.T Minerals. The study is confined to 50 respondents due to time constraints so an extensive research could not be undertaken. Analysis is done on the assumption that the respondents have given the correct information through questionnaires. There may be errors due to bias of respondents.
