simulation of NAT in application layer surya softwares, Rajahmundry 3 Documentation and coding 5 Months

Project Description

Network Address Translation is a method of connecting multiple computers to the Internet (or any other IP network) using one IP address. The basic purpose of NAT is to multiplex traffic from the internal network and present it to the Internet as if it is coming from a single computer having only one IP address.

The two most compelling problems the IP Internet is currently facing are IP address depletion and scaling in routing. Long-term and short-term solutions to these problems are being developed.

The short-term solution is CIDR (Classless Inter Domain Routing). The long-term solutions consist of various proposals for new internet protocols with larger addresses like Ipv6.
