Adamanteus Theon INVOCATIO SYGILLI CONIUNCTIONIS

1. INVOCATIO DEORUM The Playickian faces Boleskin. Let him first rise his right hand up, forming a magickal mudra by his hand, then knocking a battery: 3:2:1:1:1:2:3. He should bring his hand up to his forehead. With his right hand, formed as previously, let him make a circle around his head, as in Liber V, saying: NUIT. Next, let him proceed to the top of his head and touch it, saying: HADIT. Subsequently, he should bring his hand down to his genitals, tap them and utter: RA HOOR KHUIT. After that, he should proceed to the top of his head, saying: HOOR PAAR KRAAT. Now, let him hold on for a moment, focusing on points in his body that he has just touched. After this short brake, let him bring his hand to the top of the head, touching it, and say: MAAT. Then, he should bring his hand up to the left ear, touch it and utter: THERION, and proceed also to the right, saying: BABALON. He should then keep on moving his hand, straight to the left shoulder, tap it and say: AGAPE, and also to the right, pronouncing: THELEMA. Next, the Playickian should bring his hand toward the point of Tiphereth center, touch it and say: KHABS, and after that, the point of Yesod, saying: KHU. Afterwards, let him cross his arms on his chest, in the sign of Horus, the victorious and crowned child, saying: OPUS MAGNUM. Let him come back to a centre of the circle, facing Boleskine, and then hold on for a moment, meditating in silence and trying to comprehend all the previous performing. 2. INITIATIO Let the Playickian bend in his waist, making the form of Nuit, and utter: THE UNVEILING OF THE COMPANY OF HEAVEN. After that, he should bring his body back into a straight position, taking asana The Star, and say: EVERY MAN AND EVERY WOMAN IS A STAR. Let him proceed into asana Khabs, and, staying in the posture, whisper: KHABS, THE OPENING OF THE STAR. Then, he should hold asana Khu and cry: KHU! THE RISING OF THE SERPENT. Let him now stand up, facing Boleskine. He should step forward toward the edge of the circle, performing the sign of the Enterer, crying: ABRAHADABRA. Then, he should come back to the centre of the circle, proceed after that to the circumference line, turning with his back to Boleskine (i.e. facing Anti-Boleskine), and then turning around , so that he stands facing Boleskine again. He should perform the 1

sign of Silence, whispering at the same time: IPSOS. After that, he should come againg to the centre, proceeding to the circumference, where he stops, facing Boleskine. Let the Playickian start with greeting Gods. Let him roar: MANIFESTATIO DEORUM. Let him dance widdershins and go North, greeting Nuit, after that go South, greeting Hadit, and then, in the following order: on East, greeting Hoor, on West, greeting Maat, on North-East, greeting Therion, on South-West, greeting Babalon, on North-West, greeting Aiwass and on South-East, greeting LAM. Let him go back, dancing and chanting, to the centre, facing Boleskine. 3. ASTRUM IN SERPENTE Let the Playickian step forward, against the circumference, and dance in clockwise direction, up to the Anti-Boleskine point (AB). Let him stop there, facing AB (point 1). Then he should say: ASTRUM REVELANS, and begin drawing the image of the Tree of Life, starting from the point 1, which symbolizes Yesod, right across the centre of the circle, symbolizing Tiphereth (point 4), up to the point 9, corresponding to Kether. In each point he may invoke the corresponding Intelligence/Angel/Deity at will. Thus, he has drawn up the sygil of Khabs. Turned against Boleskine and standing in the point of Boleskine, let him say: SERPENS EVOLVITUR. From the Boleskine point, let him go straight towards the right upper point of the imagined triangle of Khu (8), hold on a moment and say: SULPHUR PHILOSOPHORUM, taking the sign of Sulphur. Then, let him turn around in that point, and go in opposite direction, towards the left upper point of the triangle of Khu (7). There he should stop and say: SAL PHILOSOPHORUM, taking the sign of Sal. Then, he should go to the Boleskine point (9) again, hold on for a moment, facing Boleskine, and go straight to the AB point (1), there saying: MERCURIUS. FILIUS PHILOSOPHORUM, and taking Mercurius sign. Let him go back to the centre (4), walking backwards. Let him turn around, now facing Boleskine, in point 1, and say: THE KHABS IS IN THE KHU, NOT THE KHU IN THE KHABS. 4. INCARNATIO SYGILLI

Let him say: INCARNATIO SYGILLI. Then, he should draw the sygil Coniunctio in his body, vibrating the letters of the formula Khabs. Then, the Playickian should take the asana the Star, meditating and relinquishing to the power of the incarnated sygil, then saying: MISTERIUM CONIUNCTIONIS, and rise up. Let him read the following part from Liber XV as the Ode to HGA: Thou who art I, beyond all I am, Who hast no nature and no name, Who art, when all but Thou are gone, Thou, centre and secret of the Sun, Thou, hidden spring of all things known And unknown, Thou aloof, alone, Thou, the true fire within the reed Brooding and breeding, source and seed Of life, love, liberty, and light, Thou beyond speech and beyond sight, Thee I invoke, my faint fresh fire Kindling as mine intents aspire. Thee I invoke, abiding one, Thee, centre and secret of the Sun, And that most holy mystery Of which the vehicle am I.

Appear, most awful and most mild, As it is lawful, in thy child! Otherwise, he may recite or read, in exaltation, his own version of this Ode to his Angel, imagining and worshipping his Angel. After this invokation, he should take the asana Khabs, facing Boleskine. Let him meditate for a while, feeling unity with his HGA. At the end, he may get a vision and/or utter words as the proof of communication and unity realized with Him. After that, let him rise and go to the circumference, towards point 1. He is now facing AB. He should lower into asana Khu, focusing and meditating on his Khu. After a while, he should say: ASTRUM ARCANUM. 5. PEREGRINATIO

Now, the Playickian should rise, turn around and go to the centre of the circle (4), facing B, and say: THELEMA. First, he should give the sign of Enterer and cry: ABRAHADABRA!, and after that start a magickal journey in the circle, dancing and chanting at his Will, moving clockwise and counterclockwise, alternately. While dancing, he should adore and meditate on mysteries and Deities of Thelema. Let the Playickian go to the point 1 of the sygillum drawn in the circle, facing the centre, and let him rest for a while in his favourite asana. After that, he should stand up from the chosen asanna, proceed to the centre, then draw in front of him the LAMs symbol, the sygillum Coniunctio and the sign of the Beast, one into another. Then he should say: MISTERIUM CONIUNCTIONIS. He should then turn around to face AB point, come to the circumference, perform the sign of Silence and whisper: IPSOS. 6. INVOCATIO DEORUM

The Playickian should repeat all given in chapter 1. NOTE: This ritual can be used to invoke the energies of Thelema and Playick. The Playickian quickly makes contact with the 'current 88'. It is recommended for a daily practice. It may be exercised as a sole practice or as a preparation for a more complex ritual, meditation or some other practice. Enjoy the Play!
