New Features
The following features have been added in this release:

WPA2 support New encryption method that provides a higher level of security for wireless communication than WPA, its predecessor. WPA2 uses Advanced Encryption Standard (AES) with Counter Mode with Cipher Block Chaining Message Authentication Code Protocol (CCMP). Wi-Fi Multimedia (WMM) support Enable WMM to help improve the Quality of Service (QoS) for audio, video, and voice applications over the wireless network. When WMM support is enabled, multimedia traffic is given higher priority over other types of traffic.

mixed mode, the Wireless PC Card cannot associate with it successfully. For the Wireless PC Card to associate successfully with the Travel Router in AP/Router mode, encryption should be set to either WPA or WPA2, not WPA/WPA2 mixed mode.

Channel Selection
Use of this product is only authorized for the channels approved by each country. To ensure that you are using a channel that is approved in your country, select your country from the Country or Domain list on the System screen of the Web interface. NOTE 1: This product is shipped with channels 1-11 enabled. If additional channels are approved by your country, you can download additional software from www.3com.com.
