The department is well equipped with 3 diversified laboratories. The department has organized various Technical level symposium for inter and intra colleges. Asan Memorial College of Engineering and Technology has been established in the year 2002 in recognition of the vital need to develop competent engineering professionals and techno-managerial personnel to meet the growth needs of the country. The college is located in the villages of Thandarai and Keerapakkam adjoining Chengalpet Town, 9 Kms on Chengalpet Mahabalipuram Highway. The College campus spread over 45 acres of land with picturesque hills and valleys forming a backdrop provides a pollution free ideal and healthy setting for learning and living.
