Communication THE SECRET!

Material 4 Radio Transmissors and the Cards for the Activity, and the Solutions (See attached) Target Group Youth Leaders, Trainers, Facilitators Size Group from 16 up to 30 Duration 45 minutes How to prepare the Activity: The trainers/Facilitators must have everything prepared before start the activity. Will be crucial to find 4 different places where which subgroup will have one table with a group of cards (before the trainers needs to cut all the cards individually). The communication by Radio its totally important to be clear, and all the groups must have a clear signal to communicate during the activity. In each table the facilitator must put a group of 16 cards in the some positions of one of the solutions (see attached). The cards are on the table with the face hided (means that the backs of each card its what the group can see (see the example attached have dNa NF Resourses). Each table must have: The 16 cards in the position conserning with one of the 4 solutions. One Radio Solution of the one of the cards game. (ex:. If on the table A you organize the cards like conserning with solution n1, you can leave there the solution of the table D) Development 1- Divide the group in different subgroups with 5/7 persons each (find a creative way to do it). The trainer must turn clear the importance of the communication between partners and groups are working with. Listening and develop a concrete communication its the base for endow skills, to develop strong partnerships and to achieve better results in your personal and Professional life. 2 This activity will divide the group in 4 different subgroups that will just communicate by Radio. The task for this Activity its to find out, each group have the SOLUTION of YOUR GAME. RULES for this Game: 17 minutes to solve it! You JUST CAN TURN AROUND 2 CARDS 3 When the time is UP, finish the activity and join all group in the Training Room. Find out in each group: Who found the solution for their game, how they got it? How was the communication inside the subgroup? And with the other groups? The strategy was the some for all groups? The groups supported each other? Can you identify this communication barries in your regular life? Working? Personally? NOTE This activity work really good when you want to work the importance of the communication between partners, teams, groups, etc. Its not easy task, becuase the groups use to dont listen each other and all of them are normally sure that they have the solution for ALL. For the trainers its a good material to work with.. and at the some time its a funny activity that involve all the participants. SUGESTION You can make some varitions on the Activity, making agreement with the subgroups to change minutes to turn one more card (never less than 5 minutes per card) to keep hardly for the group to find the solution, and make them dependents of the communication with the other groups.
