DPA Georgia at DigiTech Business Forum in Yerevan

24-25.06.2011 June 24/25 DPA participated in DigiTech Business forum Yerevan, Armenia. The objective of annual DigiTec Business Expo-Forum is to promote the application of ICT in other sectors of the economy, present ICT products and services of local and international companies, which are directed to modernization of other branches of economy. MICROSOFT INNOVATION FORUM 2011 also took part in the framework of Digitec Business Forum and participants had an access to Microsoft Innovation Forum as well! DPA representatives held meetings with Microsoft Armenia, Mont Armenia, Shirak Technologies, iCity, Armenian Software, Beeline, Essential Solutions. Many other Armenian companies expressed interest in DPA services and proposed joint cooperation on specific projects upcoming in the future. DPA Georgia employees become Microsoft Certified Professionals

5.06.2011 DPA Georgia employees Maia Khoperia and Giorgi Kvaratskhelia has achieved Microsoft certificates. According to Microsoft corporate rules and policies, companies can achieve different status of partnership, that is determined by companies experience and number of certified professionals in companies assets. On order to reacquire the higher partnership status and/or sustain the present status, company has to care about its employee's skills and certificates. Therefore employees have to constantly renew the certificates and new employees acquire the certificates on competencies they have to deal with, DPA entered Georgian market as Microsoft Gold Partner. Therefore every new employee, who serves the customer, has to acquire respective Microsoft certificates and pass exams like: Designing and Providing Volume Licensing Solutions to Small and Medium Sized and Large Organizations. During the preparation period, the employee have to study all Microsoft products, licensing programs and channels, licensing solutions for small and medium businesses and large businesses. The person with this knowledge, is the first contact person for customer willing to enrol in the licensing program tailored to size and needs of its business. Microsoft is not the only vendor in the list of DPA Georgia partners. 06.07.2011 On hot summer day, Tbilisi State University, XI corpus, Room 103 was full of interested attendees to the Open Lecture on Intellectual Property and internet, Software Licensing, Microsoft Education Solutions, Perfect IT (according to ISO standards). New approach to IT project management. The lecture was presented by DPA Country Manager Sanita Meijere and Marketing Manager Maia Khoperia. Event was organized with the support of TSU rector's administration to satisfy huge demand from students' side. November 5th 2011, DPA launched Media School. DPA Media School is the valuable IT knowledge resource for journalists that write articles and make TV stories about latest technology. DPA Media School delivers expert knowledge about IT to every interested media representative. Journalists can participate in intensive discussions and get answers to many questions. .At Kalasi Business Center Media representatives had an opportunity to attend firs ever IT seminar for journalists. They were offered presentation called Perfect IT explaining all the aspects of IT Project Management according to world best practices ant ISO standards. Next topic was Biometry. 18.11.2011 ICT Business Council of Georgia and LEPL Data Exchange Agency of the Ministry of Justice of Georgia had a pleasure to invite IT companies to participate in 4th regional conference GITI 2011 on November 18-21, 2011 at Court Yard Marriott. 22-26.11.2011 BakuTel 2011, the largest telecommunication exhibition in the Caspian and Caucasus regions, was held at Baku Expo Centre from 23rd to 26th November. Over the years, the exhibition has become a leading industry event, an integral part of the telecommunications market in the country and in the region as a whole. Exhibition of 2011 has more than doubled in its size. Over 250 companies from 29 countries. DPA - was also participating in Bakutel exhibition to demonstrate solution for biometric modification and the processing of biometric data. The product has already been successfully implemented in the Baltic region. Biometric solution that we offer is of great help to state government agencies and private companies that collect biometric data. We already have a system, using which all the storage of biometric data can be combined and analysis carried out using special algorithms. It should be noted that DPA is unique in Central and Eastern Europe in terms of its experience. Therefore, we believe that our professionalism might be of interest to any of the countries represented in this international exhibition that take the care of their citizens' safety. DPA stand had the honour to be visited by the President of Azerbaijan, Mr. Ilham Aliyev and other government representatives, that demonstrated interest in services offered by DPA and want try the solution for public transport security. Azerbaijan will be the second place in Caucasus region, where DPA will open the office claimed DPA President Juris Vilders.
