Since the appearance of the first model in 1989, Schagerl rotary trumpets have set the standard for the symphony orchestra trumpeter. All models have been developed in close cooperation with Hans Gansch (former Solo Trumpet of the Vienna Philharmonic and Professor at the Mozarteum, Salzburg).
EN The Hoersdorf heavy model is a variation of the Hrsdorf model and one of the most played Schagerl models. By using a heavy valve section, the trumpet has more overtones in the sound and sounds more powerful and rich. The Sterling silver leadpipe offers a brillant sound and effortless playability.
The Ganschhorn was developed with input of austrian trumpet-great Thomas Gansch (Mnozil Brass). It combines the advantages of a rotary trumpet with
the handling of a perinet instrument. It has the direct response of a perinet horn and offers the smooth rotary sound and makes fast-playing easy. The special bell de-
sign turns this horn to a real eyecatcher. The Ganschhorn can be obtained as a VIENNA, HRSDORF or HRSDORF HEAVy model.
The Ganschhorn, especially developed for me together with the music store Schagerl, is an ideal instrument for an allrounder. I can use it for all music styles, no matter if I play in a Big band, a symphony-orchestra, for chamber music, at the studio or with the brass band. The special form of this trumpet is a great advantage when you are on stage and want to entertain. Other advantages are the vertical valve sections, which are easier to play than the usual rotary trumpets a gorgeous instrument for highest quality standards.

The fluegelhorn WIEN 2010 has a mellow, traditional dark sound with offers easy-playing and best intonation. It is perfect even for Symphony Orchestras.
The Killer Queen model was developed together with the austrian musician Thomas Gansch (Mnozil Brass). Like the Ganschhorn, the Killer Queen is a kind of symbiosis of a rotary and a perinet-instrument. In comparision with other fluegelhorns, the response of the Killer Queen is easier and more precise. It has a smooth sound with a solid core. A perfect horn for soloists and fluegel-fans!
