Meanwhile, while transporting a fugitive into custody in Lockport New York with a local police officer named Bunting, Prentiss is injured when the fugitive is assisted in a getaway by an unknown partner. That fugitive is Dale Shrader, who had just been paroled from prison, where he was serving time for a series of bank robberies in which the moneys stolen were never recovered. Since his release two days earlier, Shrader killed a junkie named Stacy Ryan who was the sister of someone Shrader served time with five years prior, and kidnapped his daughter Jenny as an act of revenge toward his ex-wife Connie. These two acts are seemingly a dichotomy in personality. During the getaway, Shrader killed Bunting. Prentiss did see the partner, but the BAU do not know who that partner is. They have to delve into Shrader's life as a bank robber and his eleven years in prison to uncover the meaning of Ryan's murder and of Jenny's kidnapping, and hopefully the identity of the partner and the two fugitives' whereabouts. He has killed three people thus far, each in an increasingly public location. Each victim was slashed across the throat with a knife, which is left at the scene without fingerprints. As the BAU go through the three murders thus far, they determine that the unsub is more like an arsonist than a killer in the way he approaches his crimes.

The victims themselves seem to be secondary to the location for the unsub, and he is only killing when it is convenient as opposed to choosing a predetermined victim. The BAU feel that they are missing one step in catching the unsub, and as such make a special request of Meg Collins, the wife of the third victim who was a Iraq War veteran. Meg's willingness to assist is all based on thoughts of her daughter, Sophie, who witnessed her father's murder. Season 5, Episode 17: Solitary Man Original Air Date10 March 2010 The Highway Serial Killer Database exists so that information can be collated for serial murders that would not otherwise be connected due to different police jurisdictions. In reviewing the database, the BAU determine that a serial killer has killed five women thus far, the bodies found hundreds of miles apart. However Reid determines that there is a geographical focus on Edgewood, New Mexico. Each woman was strangled, the bodies laid in a fetal position found in a public location such as a ditch, and there is no sexual assault. The BAU determine that the unsub is a trucker. The case takes a turn when a woman named Nancy Campbell is abducted in front of her teen-aged daughter, Courtenay, at a highway rest stop in Edgewood. Nancy does not fit the victimology, but her abduction clarifies to the BAU what the unsub is looking for in the abducted women and ultimately the reason for the abductions and eventual murders. Season 5, Episode 18: The Fight Original Air Date7 April 2010 The BAU team travels to San Francisco to investigate the murders of several homeless men and teams up with a separate group of BAU operatives who are working another case they think is connected. Season 5, Episode 19: Rite of Passage Original Air Date14 April 2010 In the Mexican border town of Terlingua, Texas, three decapitated heads are found outside the sheriff's office. One of those heads was a recent death, while the other two were killed some time ago, although the decapitations themselves conducted recently. The BAU's initial thoughts are that it has to do with the border drug trade, or that because the more decomposed heads displayed now, the drug trade issue is a red herring for illegal immigration from Mexico. Indeed the three deaths are of John or Jane Doe's, fueling the BAU's speculation that they are illegal immigrants from Mexico. Believing the murders drug related, the deputy sheriffs in Terlingua arrest Omar Morales, head of one of the local drug cartels. Recently arrived Sheriff Ruiz on the other hand is certain Morales is not guilty of these murders, and that the deaths have to do with her knowledge of known illegal immigrants missing, the heads a sign for her to stop what has only been her limited investigation thus far. Based on physical evidence of the

heads and an interview with Morales, the BAU come up with a profile. But it isn't until J.J. divulges some information she overheard that the BAU connect the profile to the unsub. Season 6 Season 6, Episode 1: The Longest Night Original Air Date22 September 2010 As The Prince of Darkness continues his murderous rampage across California, the BAU go after him to save Detective Spicer's daughter from him. Season 6, Episode 2: JJ Original Air Date29 September 2010 While trying to get two suspects to reveal what they've done with a missing woman, the BAU brace themselves for the loss of one of their own. Season 6, Episode 3: Remembrance of Things Past Original Air Date6 October 2010 The team is still adjusting to the loss of JJ from the unit, she who was transferred to the Department of Defense against her own wishes. The BAU's next case takes them to Bristol, Virginia, where young blond women are abducted from highly public locations. They are tortured and sodomized before being

murdered by electrocution, their bodies dumped in a common location. They were forced to telephone a loved one to tell them of their impending death. This case is reminiscent of a sixteen year old cold case that Rossi worked on, the unsub of the cold case nicknamed the Butcher, who killed over a ten year period in the Bristol area. The primary difference between this new case and that of the Butcher is that the Butcher's victims were forced to say in their telephone calls that they enjoyed it. The BAU believe these new killings are the work of copycats, as they know there are two unsubs. Two of the major reasons they believe so is that the Butcher's profile had him as a narcissist who would not work with another, and had him as a then middle aged man who could now not physically abduct the young women due to his advanced age. But Rossi's gut feeling tells him that the Butcher is involved in these new killings. Rossi has to figure out how to reconcile the two sets of profiles. Season 6, Episode 4: Compromising Positions Original Air Date13 October 2010 The BAU travel to Akron, Ohio, where two sets of married couples have been murdered in the span of a week. The husbands, who had Viagra in their system but who were not prescribed the drug, were shot while the wives were stabbed. The couples were forced to have sex with the husband wearing a condom, before they were killed. In reviewing the crime scenes, Morgan and Prentiss determine that the unsub is not a sexual sadist as he was trying to set a romantic mood for the kills, and is compensating for a probable recent bout of impotence. In interviewing the victims' families, the team also determine that the husband is the key to the unsub's targets as stereotypical alpha male types. When the unsub hits a broader target, the team are only then able to figure out how the unsub is able to gain access to the victims without a struggle, and from where he has devolved. Meanwhile, Hotch is surprised by an applicant for the communications liaison job. Despite the applicant not being an obvious choice, Hotch gives the applicant a trial on this case with some surprising and not so surprising results. Season 6, Episode 5: Safe Haven Original Air Date20 October 2010 Two families consisting of a mother, father and two children are murdered in two consecutive days in the Iowa/Nebraska border area. The children are strangled, the mothers killed by blunt force trauma and the fathers stabbed multiple times. The father in the second set of murders was also eviscerated crudely postmortem, meaning that it was done not as torture but rather out of curiosity. The autopsies show that the mothers suffered the most pain in their deaths, making the BAU believe that the mothers are the key to the unsub's rage. In reviewing the crime scenes, the BAU come to the realization that the unsub was known to the victims and that he is a minor. As the BAU determine more about the unsub, including that he is a ward with a criminal record, the unsub is dealing with his next target, the Riverton family, its mother, Nancy Riverton who does her best to temper the inner rage of the unsub. Evidence at one of the earlier crime scenes leads the BAU to come to understand where the unsub is heading which if they get there in time may save both Nancy Riverton and the unsub's ultimate target. Meanwhile, Morgan receives an unexpected visitor from Los Angeles. While working on the case in Iowa and Nebraska, Morgan has to figure out what to do with his guest, both in the short term and the long term.

Season 6, Episode 6: Devil's Night Original Air Date27 October 2010 The BAU go to Detroit to catch a man who burns his victims alive during the pre-Halloween celebration Devil's Night. Season 6, Episode 7: Middle Man Original Air Date3 November 2010 In separate incidents, three exotic dancers have been found dead in corn fields in Johnson County, Indiana. The women were abducted following their shift at work on a Friday night, and killed sometime at the end of the weekend on Sunday. The latest victim, Meredith Joy, had the DNA of two people under her fingernails, meaning that there are at least two unsubs. In reviewing the site where Meredith's body was found, Morgan and Rossi determine that there are probably three unsubs who are locals since they seem to know the area well. Another dancer, Stephanie Wilson, has just been determined missing, leaving the BAU less than two days to find the unsubs before she will be killed. As the BAU come up with profiles for the unsubs, Garcia finds an interesting connection of the case to the sheriff's office, Sheriff Salters with who the BAU have had a problematic relationship. Meanwhile, after the unsubs see reports of the murders on the television news, the true nature of their relationship is revealed. Season 6, Episode 8: Reflection of Desire Original Air Date10 November 2010 Twenty-something Kelly Landis, who has been missing for three days, is found dead in a back alley in Georgetown. Although the D.C. police don't connect her death to any other murders, they call in the BAU because of what was done to her: her lips were cut off. The unsub wants press on the murder as he sent a photograph of Kelly to one of the Georgetown area newspapers. The BAU believe the unsub to be local and that the police have already interviewed him. Based on finding a homeless man living at the crime scene, they determine that the unsub is the man who reported Kelly's murder and who at the time was masquerading as a homeless man. Text found at the crime scene which matches text found on a piece of paper stuffed down Kelly's throat, the three day time frame and the way Kelly was made up when she was found suggest that the unsub is working in some 1950's movie or stage play three act scenario. Another young woman, Penny Hanley, is also determined to be missing and based on their information, the BAU and D.C. police have only one more day to find the unsub before Penny will be killed. Meanwhile, Garcia inadvertently exposes a little of her personal life to the team, a part which she wanted kept to herself. Despite Garcia's wishes, Hotch uses this part of her life to try and flush out the unsub. Season 6, Episode 9: Into the Woods Original Air Date17 November 2010 When an 8-year-old is found murdered on the Appalachian Trail, the BAU team goes deep into its forests in search of a man lurking in the wilderness who is targeting children.

Season 6, Episode 10: What Happens at Home... Original Air Date8 December 2010 Oak Tree Hills is a security monitored gated community located in Las Cruces, New Mexico. In the span of two months, three women have been strangled to death in their home in Oak Tree Hills, each successive murder being more brazen in that other household members were within closer proximity when the murder occurred. With the latest murder, security showed no non-residents on site, meaning that a resident is the unsub. Because the community is homogeneous, an unsub profile is somewhat meaningless. As such, Hotch and Rossi enlist the assistance of an FBI cadet, Agent Ashley Seaver, who may be able to shed some light from another perspective as she is the daughter of a serial killer who murdered twenty-five women before she reached age twenty. Hotch and Rossi make it clear to her that she is only acting as a consultant and is in no way to take action without the approval of someone on the team. Det. Felix Ruiz, the Las Cruces police detective assigned to the case who happens to also live in the community, and the community's security chief, Harvey Brinkman, are among the suspect list of seventy-one men. As the team amasses evidence, Seaver stumbles onto some behavior which may prove useful in determining the identity of the unsub. Season 6, Episode 11: 25 to Life Original Air Date15 December 2010 Hotch is off on leave, leaving Rossi in charge. Hotch has provided an electronic OK for Ashley Seaver to complete her remedial training at the BAU, she who wants to atone for the mistake she made in the strangled women case in New Mexico. With support from Prentiss who would act as Seaver's agent supervisor, Rossi provides his reluctant OK. Meanwhile, the parole board has asked the BAU to do a risk assessment on Don Sanderson, who has served his minimum twenty-five years of a life sentence for killing his wife and daughter. A former medical resident, Sanderson has always professed his innocence, telling a story of two men and a woman who he saw commit the murders. Rossi delegates the task of the risk assessment to Morgan, who sees in Sanderson a man who has lived solely for the sake of his now grown son, Joshua, and being able to tell him what he knows to be the truth. Morgan provides his approval for Sanderson's parole. Two days after his release, Sanderson is charged with the murder of Tom Wittman, who Sanderson admits to killing, but in self-defense. Garcia can't find any connection between Sanderson and Wittman prior to this altercation. To clear Morgan's good name, the BAU need to delve into the original murders of Sanderson's wife and daughter to find why Sanderson purposefully went to see Wittman. Season 6, Episode 12: Corazon Original Air Date19 January 2011 While the BAU are in Miami investigating a series of bizarre ritualistic murders, Reid suffers from intense migraines which makes him concerned about his health. Season 6, Episode 13: The Thirteenth Step Original Air Date26 January 2011

While the BAU chases a pair of young lovers on an interstate killing spree, Prentiss is contacted by an old friend with some bad news. Season 6, Episode 14: Sense Memory Original Air Date9 February 2011 In Los Angeles, three women have been found murdered in three separate incidents. Each was knocked out by chloroform without a chloroform burn outside their nostril or mouth, drowned in methanol where they were submerged alive, dumped in a highly public place, and had a two-inch square piece of skin removed from the bottom of their right foot, the skin removed post mortem. The dump sites and the abduction sites scan the entire breadth of the city. The BAU believe that the unsub is a highly antisocial man, has some sort of scientific background, and is able to move around the city easily without attracting attention especially in interacting with or abducting the women. They narrow in on taxi drivers, but because no licensed cab was within the vicinity of the time and area of one of the abductions, they believe the unsub drives an unlicensed cab. The chemicals used in the murders may provide the missing piece in zeroing in on the unsub. During this investigation, Morgan notices that Prentiss is not herself. That is indeed the situation, but she asks that he trust her not to dig any further into the issue. Season 6, Episode 15: Today I Do Original Air Date16 February 2011 In Syracuse, New York, twenty-five year old Molly Grandin has been missing for 24 hours. The BAU believe her disappearance mirrors that of Gail Langston, a woman found dead four months earlier. Besides the similarities in their lives - both older Syracuse University undergrads, both petite females, both from blue collar backgrounds - the actual disappearance is the same: their abandoned car found with an overnight bag packed for a several day excursion. If Gail's death holds true to Molly's situation, the BAU have thirty-six hours to find Molly before the unsub kills her. The team initially believe both Molly and Gail had a intimate relationship with the male unsub, until evidence points to the unsub being a woman, changing the unsub profile to a trusted female friend. The biggest obstacle in finding Molly may be both the Langston and Grandin families believing that guarding secrets may be more beneficial than telling the truth. Meanwhile, Prentiss gets in touch with another of her Interpol colleagues, Tsia Mosely, who eventually passes along some disturbing news. Season 6, Episode 16: Coda Original Air Date23 February 2011 The BAU are called to Louisiana to get information from an autistic boy who has witnessed his parents' abduction. Meanwhile, Prentiss calls in two old colleagues to track down Ian Doyle. Season 6, Episode 17: Valhalla Original Air Date2 March 2011 When a series of killings occur on the BAU's home turf, Prentiss realizes that Ian Doyle is responsible.

Season 6, Episode 18: Lauren Original Air Date16 March 2011 While Prentiss has gone missing to track down Ian Doyle and finish him, her team attempts to track down her and digs deeper into her past. Season 6, Episode 19: With Friends Like These Original Air Date30 March 2011 The BAU are still mourning Prentiss' death, but celebrate Seaver's graduation. As all on the team, including Seaver, realize that she is not a replacement for Prentiss, Hotch is on the search for another profiler as quickly as possible. Meanwhile, they travel to Portland, Oregon, where two murders have happened. The victimology is different, with the similarities between the deaths being the victim first being bludgeoned then stabbed multiple times. The nature of the stab wounds and the petty theft involved with the murders make the team believe they are dealing with a gang. But when they view the site of one of the murders, Hotch believes that they are dealing with only one unsub - a schizophrenic which is confirmed by other evidence at other sites. With subsequent similar murders, the team learns more about the unsub, which includes religious exorcisms. This case is especially difficult on Reid, who sees some similarities of the unsub in himself. Season 6, Episode 20: Hanley Waters Original Air Date6 April 2011 Hotch is assigned as the team's grief assessor in Prentiss' death. A common theme among some on the team is who is acting as his grief assessor. Meanwhile, the team travels to Tampa, Florida, where a woman that morning entered a gun shop and shot four dead. When they arrive at the gun shop, the team realize that she brought her own ammunition into the shop and used one of the shop's own guns as the weapon. That shooting and two subsequent events show the BAU that she has some issue with authority. As they track her movement through Tampa, they also realize that she is not on the run but has a specific target that she needs to get to on this specific day. They have to figure out who that target is and the significance of the date in her life. Season 6, Episode 21: The Stranger Original Air Date13 April 2011 The team heads to San Diego, California where three murders have occurred in five days. The unrelated victims were each brunette, female, college students (in different institutions) majoring in education or some aspect of child care, and were murdered in their off campus home. Each murder, caused by multiple stab wounds, was successively more violent. Because of the unpredictable nature of the victims' schedules, the team realize that the victims were targeted and stalked. They also come to understand that the victims are surrogates for who will be the unsub's ultimate target. During the investigation, more murders occur with slightly different M.O.'s where the child care issue becomes more a central theme and a key piece for the team to find the murderer before he kills again and before he gets to his final target. Meanwhile, Strauss reviews Hotch's grief assessments of the team. The

scrutiny unnerves all on the team, but Strauss admits the reason for the scrutiny to Hotch. Season 6, Episode 22: Out of the Light Original Air Date4 May 2011 A barely alive young Jane Doe is found on a cliff-side road outside of rural Lake Worth, North Carolina, she who seemingly jumped or fell off the cliff. The BAU are called in because many of her pre-fall injuries - stab wounds - are consistent with another Jane Doe body found in the area three years earlier. The BAU quickly come to the conclusion that the unsub is a sexual sadist and predator who is abducting these women and holding them captive, this latest Jane Doe who probably saw an opportunity to escape. Upon arrival in the area, the BAU discover a recently tampered with mass grave filled with other young, primarily blond, women. The latest Jane Doe, who eventually succumbs to her injuries, is ultimately identified as Angela Proctor, who was traveling with her best friend, Marcy Owens, who is also missing and presumed held captive by the unsub. The BAU come up with a suspect named Marcus Talbot, a known past sexual predator who is currently a high school art teacher in Lake Worth. The more the team searches through Talbot's possessions, the more he looks to be the unsub, despite he professing his innocence. But it's what is found buried in his yard that provides the strongest clue to Talbot's guilt or innocence, which in turn hopefully will lead to a still alive Marcy. On a lighter note, Hotch has been asked to coach Jack's soccer team. Season 6, Episode 23: Big Sea Original Air Date11 May 2011 The discovery of bodies buried in the ocean floor off Jacksonville prompts the BAU to intervene; Morgan's aunt suspects her missing daughter may be among the dead. Season 6, Episode 24: Supply and Demand Original Air Date18 May 2011 Hotch calls an early morning meeting - the first he's called since Gideon left - which raises the curiosity among the team. What he tells them is that because of budget issues, there is going to be some restructuring at the FBI, and although he would like them all to stay with the BAU, they may be approached by other units. The meeting affects Garcia and Rossi the most, the latter who ends up having a subsequent late night meeting in his office because of it. Meanwhile, the team is called to assist in the investigation of a local car accident, where the unidentified male driver careened over a cliff, he who ultimately succumbed to his injuries. They are called because the murdered bodies of two young adults were found in the trunk of his car. They are later identified as Jake Wattay and Paige Hawley, both who are on the missing persons list, each on the list for differing amounts of time and who are from different parts of the country. Because of the nature of their injuries, the team believes there is a group of unsubs. SSA Andi Swan, the head of the Domestic Trafficking Task Force, who receives notification of found bodies within a certain age demographic, approaches Hotch with her belief: that the deaths are tied to an organization she has been tracking for three years that abducts college students for torturous white slavery, which results in a high turnover rate of victims. She currently has a group of undercover agents working the only angle they can: as potential victims. The case takes on

greater urgency for Swan when she learns that one of her local undercover agents, Renee Matlin, has missed the last two reporting in periods. Her notes may provide some answers to her whereabouts and ultimately the location of the unsubs and other victims. Season 7 Season 7, Episode 1: It Takes a Village Original Air Date21 September 2011 It's been seven months since Prentiss' death, and three months since JJ returned to the unit to fill Prentiss' empty position. Ever since Prentiss' death, Morgan had been working to find and capture Prentiss' murderer, Ian Doyle, first unsanctioned but then within the scope of the team but still without any government authority. It is because of that unsanctioned nature that the team members individually are appearing at a senate committee hearing into the case, which led to the death of two agents. Morgan felt the best way to locate Doyle was to locate his son, Declan, who Prentiss spent the better part of her post-Interpol life protecting. Morgan did find Declan. But Declan went missing shortly thereafter. The team didn't believe Doyle kidnapped Declan, but rather enemies of Doyle's did. Hotch decided that one person could have special insight into the case, and made a unilateral decision to bring her in much like the unilateral decision he made without the team's knowledge seven months earlier. Season 7, Episode 2: Proof Original Air Date28 September 2011 The team travels to Durant, Oklahoma, where two females - both low risk in their late teens, long blond hair and blue eyes - were found sexually assaulted then murdered within a three day span. Other similarities between the two murders are that the body dump sites are public, the victims were not wearing their own clothes but rather 1980's vintage clothing, and that the killer used sulfuric acid to blind the victims. From this evidence, the team believes the unsub is homeless, and is using the acid as a measure of power. They also know that the victims are surrogates for who the unsub will actually target, she probably someone he knew from the 1980's. When another young woman named Tammy Bradstone goes missing, she who fits the profile, Morgan and Prentiss, in interviewing Tammy's parents, believe they have uncovered the unsub's identity and who his real target is. They just have to use that information to find a hopefully still alive Tammy. Meanwhile, Reid is angry at those who knew about Prentiss' fake death, but especially JJ as she was the one to who he went to release his emotions about her death, and yet JJ said nothing. Hotch knows that he needs to bring the team back together as a cohesive unit, with a focus on dealing with Reid's issue. Season 7, Episode 3: Dorado Falls Original Air Date5 October 2011 The BAU investigate a mass murder at Synalock, an Internet security company located in Charlottesburg, Virginia. Five people were shot, while three others were stabbed. By the severity of the killings, the company's CEO, Adam Werner, was the supposed intended target. They also surmise that despite the different styles of killings, there is only one unsub. When Mark and Mary Dolan are later that day found

shot to death in their home, the BAU tie the two sets of murders together, the connection being the Dolan's son, Luke Dolan, who the BAU are certain is the unsub. Luke Dolan and Adam Werner were not navy communications men as their official records state, but rather Navy SEALs in the same unit, where Werner was the leader and Dolan the second in command. Dolan seems to be on a mission of some sort and seems to be facing some delusional break from reality. They have to figure out what caused the initial break from reality and what his current mission is. As Dolan had a loving relationship with his parents, the BAU think that Dolan's estranged wife Jenna and their daughter Ally may be his next targets. They also come to learn that Dorado Falls, a secret mission carried out by Dolan and Werner's unit, is playing a part in Dolan's current mission. Trying to find out about Dorado Falls is not as easy as they would like solely because of its classified nature. Meanwhile, Prentiss learns from Morgan that she has to go through recertification training and that he will be her trainer. She later learns from Hotch that what Morgan told her is not totally accurate. Season 7, Episode 4: Painless Original Air Date12 October 2011 Ten years ago, Hotch and Rossi, as part of the BAU at the time, worked on a mass murder case in Boise, Idaho, where bright and well liked but narcissistic North Valley High School student Randy Slade killed thirteen of his classmates in a lunch hour shooting and cell phone detonated bombing in the school's cafeteria. He himself was also killed. As several of the survivors return to Boise to commemorate the ten year anniversary of the massacre, a copycat killer seems to be on the loose. The local authorities and media believe that Randy's then seven year old brother, sweet but impressionable Brandon Slade, now a student at North Valley himself, may be involved, which Hotch and Rossi, based on what they knew of Brandon ten years ago, don't believe. What the BAU glean early in this updated investigation is that Randy did have a hit list of people he wanted to kill, and that the latest victims are on that hit list. The list itself is comprised of popular students and students on the fringe, which strengthens the BAU's theory that Randy had a partner who went underground after the massacre. But when someone not on the list is one of the latest victims, the team have to look specifically at the massacre itself to see if there are any triggers from that day which may have set off these latest round of killings. Meanwhile, Hotch is trying to deal constructively with Jack in what looks to be a case of him being bullied at school. And Morgan and Reid embark on a game of oneupmanship on each other, all stemming from Reid knowing a little more about basketball than he initially let on. Season 7, Episode 5: From Childhood's Hour Original Air Date19 October 2011 It isn't until 48 hours after the disappearance of nine year old St. Louis, Missouri based Bobby Smith that the BAU is called to investigate. The delay was because Bobby's chronically depressed mother, Marlene Smith, believed he was at his grandmother's house where she dropped him off. Despite her not being a candidate for mother of the year, the team doesn't believe that Marlene is a suspect as there is every indication that she lives beyond her means to please Bobby whenever she's not in one of her suicidal states. Since there are no signs of a struggle, the team believes that Bobby knew or at least trusted the abductor unsub, meaning that the unsub could have been someone in authority like a first responder.

When another St. Louis based child, four year old Timmy Tanner, is abducted, the team has its first victim profile: troubled mothers, as Timmy's mother Kelsey Tanner eventually admits to being a drug addict. Timmy's disappearance also brings about the first real break into the identity of the unsub, or at least his profession. And an incident with Marlene brings about the unsub's true objective. Meanwhile, Rossi is having troubles focusing on this case as he contemplates his impending "date" with his first wife, Carolyn, with who he has always had a special bond. Carolyn, however, has other things on her mind in wanting to reconnect with him. Season 7, Episode 6: Epilogue Original Air Date2 November 2011 The BAU is called to 1,000 square miled Angeles National Forest, California after three bodies are recovered from its Ridge Canyon Lake, a popular recreational area. The victims are all dark haired, muscular men. While those three bodies are being recovered, some boaters observing the police recovery team see their friend on shore, Nick Skirvin, being beaten and abducted by an unknown white male. Nick is later found dead alongside the forest's adjacent Lake Banter, but he doesn't fit the victim profile in that he is more slight and blonde, and the body was not found in the lake itself. When more victims are later found, the team notice that they are getting physically smaller. The team knows that the unsub is local and knows the area well, and the water burial has some significance to the ritual. After autopsies of the first four victims are conducted and some personal evidence is found on one of the latest victims, the team figures out why the unsub is killing, why there are signs of attempted revival and why the victims are getting smaller with each successive kill. Meanwhile, a distracted Rossi has to figure out what to do about the request from his first wife Carolyn, who is rapidly deteriorating from ALS. Season 7, Episode 7: There's No Place Like Home Original Air Date9 November 2011 In the span of a week, the dead and beaten bodies of two Caucasian mid-teen boys are found in the aftermath of tornadoes in Wichita, Kansas. In addition, different body parts are missing from each boy, and each boy was a runaway who made money through street hustling. After dismissing the notion of the unsub wanting the authorities to believe the storms caused the pre-death trauma, the BAU determine that the tornadoes in and of themselves are part of the reason for the unsub's murder spree. After more bodies with different missing limbs are found, the BAU begins to figure out exactly what the unsub is planning on doing with the taken body parts. They get a break when there is a witness to the abduction of another teen-aged boy, albeit one with a stable family life. After the latest meeting, Garcia, who had just spoken to Monica, finds Monica's car left in the parking lot with the keys in the ignition and her purse on the front seat. Although the police can't act since there is no indication of foul play, Garcia is certain that something bad has happened to Monica. Garcia calls in her friends at the BAU for help. They find images of Monica with an unidentifiable man on a gas station surveillance video, she who seems to be voluntarily going with him. The location of the gas station and another sighting of Monica at her former house - where she lived with Hope - lead the team to believe that the man is the person who abducted Hope. Season 7, Episode 9: Self Fulfilling Prophecy Original Air Date7 December 2011 The BAU is called to Somerville Academy, a military boys' school, when five students are found dead from hanging while on an unsupervised survival outing in the woods. The school's administration believes it to be a mass suicide as there is a supposed simple suicide note at the scene, with the words "we're sorry". These deaths follow a suicide hanging of another underclassman, Bailey Shelton, two weeks earlier. The one student tying to two sets of deaths together is Josh Redding, who is the missing sixth member of the survival outing, and in whose room Bailey was found hanging. As Somerville, which has worked on tradition and thus has bucked any modern technological conveniences, has ties to highers-up in the organization, Strauss accompanies the team to ensure both that the investigation goes smoothly and that there is as little media attention as possible. They initially believe that Josh reneged on the suicide pact, but then come to the conclusion that he killed the five other boys. The team faces obstacles in discovering information because of the lack of an electronic trail as well as an official unofficial code of silence both among the administration, led by the thirty year head of the academy, Colonel Ron Massey, and within the ranks of the students to protect the good name of the school at all cost. Slowly, the BAU discover that hierarchy of power, both among the administration and the students, may have led to the deaths. They have to find Josh before others who may be out to get him find him first. Meanwhile, an uncharacteristic action by Strauss while out in the field threatens the integrity of the investigation. Season 7, Episode 10: The Bittersweet Science Original Air Date14 December 2011 The BAU is called to Philadelphia, Pennsylvania where two men are violently bludgeoned to death within minutes of each other one evening near a hospital. The way the dead bodies are positioned shows that the unsub is remorseful about his act. They know that the unsub needs to be a physically strong man to be able to exact such killings on other physically strong men. Subsequent victims are found to be beaten solely by the unsub's hands, and that the unsub is no longer showing that remorse, which to the team indicates that he will probably strike again for his new pleasure of blood lust. The nature of the beatings also shows someone who is knowledgeable about fighting, such as a boxer. Hence the team digs into the

world of the Philadelphia boxing scene trying to find some connection to the location of the dead body sites near the hospital. Meanwhile, Hotch contemplates going on his first date since Haley's death. Season 7, Episode 11: True Genius Original Air Date????
