ABSTRACT
Car Anti Theft Guard: It is an electronic circuit which protects car from possibility of theft. Simply, by raising alarm It alerts the car owner when unauthorized person tries to open the door of a car by force/unauthorized methods. The circuit is simple and easy to implement which consists of less number of electronic components. In this circuit we have switches S1 and S2, here S1 acts as car door and S2 as Key. We have circuit LED to know whether the circuit is enabled or not, it means when LED is glowing it indicates that circuit is enabled and can protect the car. With this method we can protect our car by alarming process which needs very less investment. Working: Functionality of the circuit is, when it is operated with key switch S2 is turned on, it gets power from 12V DC supply from the car battery is applicable to the entire circuit using polarity-guard diode D5. When the Anti Theft Guard is enabled, LED1 flashes to indicate that protection is ON. When the car door Is closed, door switch S1 is in ON position and 12V power supply is available across resistor R1, which prevents transistor T1 from conducting. In this position, anti theft guard circuit will be in sleep mode. If unauthorized person tries to open the car door, switch S1 becomes OFF and as a result transistor T1 conducts to fire relay-driver SCR1 (BT169) after a short delay introduced capacitor C1. Electromagnetic relay RL1 energizes

and its N/O contact connects the power supply to piezobuzzer PZ1, which starts sounding to indicate that someone is trying to steal your car. To reset the circuit, turn off switch S2 using car key. This will cut-off the power supply to the circuit and stops the buzzer sound. Assemble the circuit on a general purpose PCB and house in a small box. Connect switch S1 to the car door and keep piezobuzzer PZ1 at an appropriate place in the car.

Advantages: Conclusion: Car is protected from unauthorized use/thefting of car. It is less expensive when compared to other techniques, but gives equal level of protection like costly applications. It is easy to implement and less complex. It can also be implemented to Home security by setting it up to door, provided dedicated power source is available for the circuit always. Car Anti Theft Guard is easy to implement and reliable circuit to protect the cars from getting thefted/used by unauthorized people.
