Dear Mr. Charles,
On February 22, 2012, we received via email your letter dated February 21, 2012, requesting
copies of various records pursuant to the California Public Records Act, Government Code
6250 et seq.
Your have requested the following:
1. District policy on teacher conduct
2. District policy for reporting and investigating claims of misconduct
3. Status of any and all investigations into teacher misconduct dating back to the 2006-07
school year
4. Copies of any forms sent to the state demanding the revocation of teacher credentials due
to misconduct dating back to the 2006-07 school year
Enclosed in this correspondence you will find copies of the District policies on teacher conduct
and policies for reporting and investigating claims of misconduct.
Your request for "status of any and all investigations into teacher misconduct dating back to the
2006-07 school year" does not ask for a document, discloseable or otherwise. If you need
assistance formulating a request for an existing document, please let me know and we will try to
assist you.

Your final request requires the District to search different physical locations within the District to
determine whether the request, in whole or in part, seeks copies of disc10seable public records in
the possession of the District. Due to the scope of your request the District will need some
additional time to conduct an assessment of all materials and information. Pursuant to
Government Code 6253(c)(1), the District exercises its option to extend the District's response
with regard to this request until March 16, 2012 or 14 days from date of extension. We are in the
process of searching files for CTC filings, and will provide those to you in an
appropriately redacted form - if any are located.
