Assignments: Written discussions and cases based on topics from the text will be assigned for each learning module. Email Policy: All normal class correspondence will take place through the email included within the BlackBoard system. However, the professor may be contacted through the standard PBSC Email system at Rogersdm@palmbeachstate.edu if necessary. Students must use their PBSC Email account. The professor will not respond to private or personal Email account messages. Equipment and Supplies: Refer to the personal computer and internet requirements under Getting Started with a Distance Learning Class later in this document. No other equipment/supplies are required. Professors Expectations: Students must participate in (and will be graded on) all assignments and discussions. Online language and discussions will remain courteous; no abusive or inappropriate language or discussions are allowed. This course will follow formal academic rules of correspondence so students are expected to observe college-level syntax, grammar, punctuation, capitalization, etc. All informal grammatical rules associated with blogging and texting will be avoided while corresponding in this course. Methods of Instruction: Slide lectures with audio commentary by the professor, online discussions, written papers, quizzes, and exams will be employed.
