General This seminar sought to confer about Evidence-based nursing practice/ Nursing Research. The students aim to augment understanding regarding the said topic, acquire and enhance case related skills and establish an appropriate attitude towards the changes brought by this trend. Moreover, this will serve as a guideline for other nursing students who will soon be professionals and work in different health care settings.

Specific At the end of this Seminar the students will be able to: Discuss evidence-based nursing practice Distinguish the difference of clinical practice before and after the EBP was integrated into nursing profession Relate the changes made by EBP in nursing practice Points out the importance of EBP to nursing practice and high-quality patient care Devise a plan to update current knowledge beyond textbooks through scientific research findings Outline the process and guidelines in integrating the Evidence-based nursing practice Address controversial issues and barrier regarding implementation of EBP in the Philippines Critically appraise the validity and clinical significance of any relevant evidence Demonstrates positive outlook for being a future professional nurse

General This seminar program is design to develop the leadership capability of every student. It serves as a training for nursing students for upcoming graduation and as professional nurses.
